A fun interview for sure.  Jim is actually the only internet message board (be it the old DCO, the Doosh or the Mess) fellow I've met in person (several years ago -- I met him and we ate at Planet Hollywood, of all places) -- and both then and now -- he's always a gentleman whose sense of humor isn't based on cynicism or being jaded (unlike, say...myself).  A Ghostbusters comic should be right up his alley!

Indeed.  He actually has a wholesome sense of humor.

It's so very alien to me!

No, we're honored Jim, it was a great piece.  I could only imagine that conducting an interview with two people would bring the same challenges as writing would.  You guys seem to have good chemistry.

I'll definitely be grabbing this.  I love Ghostbusters, and really miss those guys (Murray, Akroyd and the crew).  I can understand wanting to enjoy the fruits of your labor, but c'mon guys, let's get back to making us laugh.  I really like the attention you both placed on keeping the characters "voices" intact.  I think that has not always been the case with this property.

So far we have a 'it's art and you just don't understand it' nonpology from Hags and a post from Pieface Ron comparing Mike and CM to a dog that shit on the rug.

Think our official stance should be 'hell with those guys'.

Boo-yeah!  I've added this to pull list already.  If I'm suitably impressed I may check out some other work from these complete strangers. Smiley

I noticed, also, that Amazon is already listing a solicit for a TPB with this and other GB "holiday" specials, including one by Peter David.

Jim certainly manages to blunder his way into some august company, no? Smiley

Also...

The first, Omega Chase, tells the story of Mack Baron, a man with memories of being an officer on a 24th century starship... but also of being a medieval archer... and who happens to currently be the sheriff in a 19th century town that is overrun by zombies.

Yes please.  I first heard of this with just the hook of zombies overrunning a western town, but add in the man out of time bits and this gets really interesting.   Sounds like a really cool concept.

Thanks for your interest.  Like I said in the interview, the first four issues of Omega Chase can be read for free at my publisher's website:

I'd love to hear what you guys think of it.

And thanks to everyone for their comments about the interview.  Jim and I truly had a blast writing this issue, and we can only hope that a fun writing experience produces a fun reading experience.
