*SPOILERS*
What really threw me (and not in a bad way) was the "Nightwing out". I thought this episode was awesome! Liking the new members. Honestly liking this more than the current DC comic books. Curious as to what's happening with some of the so far unseen members like Wally. Definately one of my favorite tv shows right now.

Season 2 SpoilersOMFGWTFBBQ! Even though I knew it was jumping forward from the minor spoiler I started to read I did not expect that Robin not to be Dick. I figured that we would see the conversion or something. Pretty exciting. I hate Nightwing's BTAS style logo though. That just does nothing for me in any form I have ever seen it. Lobo looks pretty awesome in this. Love that costume design. WONDER GIRL! Yeah! (kind of weird voice?) (Yoga pants?) BATGIRL! Yeah! Zatanna is a grown up. Sweet. Adam Strange. Don't like him here either. He always bores me. Yep. That was a good time. Tim and Dick as primary characters in a show is pretty amazing for his fan of the Robins.

threw me at first too. liked it much better after the 2nd viewing. With Dick being Nightwing now I love that's he's the official leader. Wondering about the missing characters though. Was wanting to see more of the Wally/Artemis relationship. Wondering where Aqualad got off too and when Lagoon Boy joined up. My biggest question though is what was the outcome of the Red Arrow/Speedy plot line? All these questions have me looking forward to this season big time. Love the new characters. Figured the Superboy/Ms. Martian relationship was gonna end. Want to see what happened there too. This cartoon is head and shoulders above that love letter to Geoff also known as GL:TAS. |

My guess is we will get split or even full episodes set in the past showing some of these things. The fact we have so many questions let me know just how well done season one was. This show went from being pretty good to feeling like it might be special with this episode.

Did not expect this as I havent been keeping with news and/or spoilers. But gotta say it was GREAT.
Agree on the lots of questions thing (what happened with Roy, wheres Wally, Artemis, how we got here, and so on). Didnt completely like Nightwing's voice (it was ok for Robin, but sounds too childish for Nightwing), Nightwing's costume (that belt/strap thing has to go, and why cant we ever get a proper finger stripes costume?) and how Jaime kept throwing spanish words.
Cant wait for the next couple of episodes. Bet we will eventually see Jason Todd (maybe even hanging out with Roy?).
