First Look at Young Justice animated series.

I gave up on this show several months ago, as I just didn't find it all that compelling, fun or engaging.  I've only lightly skimmed over some of the posts here -- so let me ask -- did I make a mistake?  Is it worth going back and checking out after all?

I thought the first season was "okay" and was confused by how excited many here were. I am LOVING the second season though. I'd say give it the time if you don't have anything else going on.

The first season moved pretty slow and at times the pacing was totally off. It really just set up the characters, relationships and world for the show.  It picked up at the end of season one for me and has been really strong in season two. What I love about this show is how it focuses on the teens but has enough appearances of the League to truley convey the shared world. And what the show offers that most modern comics that essensitaly reboot everything after ever decompressed 6 issue arc, is that the personalities and relationships between the characters are nicely developed. I really hope this show doesn't get canned after this season. Lots of set up that I hope has time to pay off and develop.

I had thought about it, but I am fairly certain that people would have figured it out by my mere mention that I am watching my first episode ever, based upon the previous posts that I would not watch it until he showed up.

If The post had been "Looks like I am watching my first episode this week" it would immediately be assumed that he was joining the show.

But he is my absolute favorite character and I haven't been this excited since LO3W.

Impulse has been my big wish since season two started and it would have been exciting to see it but I understand how the internet works sometimes. No biggie.
