Liked the fact that they gave the new girls some air time and giving us a view of blue beetle on his own. And I'm curious as to what his friend will be called when his powers manifest

I have to say I have been pretty underwhelmed by the show so far this season. This week the only thing I liked--and they were merely the ideas--were introduction of Apache Chief and the girls going on a mission together--the rest were very meh--more standard action(not bad but nothing new either), the Jamie subplot was pointless and the sterotypical mean boyfriend--yawn. The Kroloteans weren't that interesting.

a-ha! did not realize that was apache chief dispitem how obvious it should have been.
I kind of dig that.
The show focusing on the girls easy great and then giving Jamie the solo time was very cool. I think he's a character kids could really dig.
Another good episode for me. can't wait for next week.
if I'd been this excited for this show the first season, those breaks would he killed me.

Somehow I hope the kid doesn't end up as "Apache Chief". There are way better code names for him. Ones that don't evoke my gag reflex.

Saganowahna the "Super Chief" Since they are really working the racial diversity angle, I'd almost be willing to bet they stir together the AC powers, the JLU 'Longshadow' last name/powers and the comic character.
I'd almost be willing to throw in that the other kids shown at the end of the show in the stasis pods turn into Black Vulcan, Samurai, and either El Dorado and a Female Fury or the Wonder Twins.

I've got a feeling the black kid in the pod will turn out to be Static. They certainly led you to believe we were looking at future versions of Black Vulcan, Apache Chief, Samurai, and El Dorado though. Guess the directors of this show have a soft spot for the Super Friends just like the JLU guys did.

I gave up on this show several months ago, as I just didn't find it all that compelling, fun or engaging. I've only lightly skimmed over some of the posts here -- so let me ask -- did I make a mistake? Is it worth going back and checking out after all?

Yeah, IMHO it is worth going back. The cast has gotten more diverse and interesting. Same general storyline though.
