FIrst issue of Teen Titans I ever bought was the one where Mal became the Guardian. Yes, I am old.

If Bart shows up, I will start watching this show. If not, the total episodes I have seen will remain zero.

Uggh... Teen Titans history anyone?
The girl is indeed Bumblebee- Karen Beecher (Later Dr Karen Duncan of STAR Labs) who was one of the original Titans West.
The 'black dude' is Mal Duncan- aka The Guardian, aka Herald, aka Vox- also a Titans West member and eventual owner of a night club before 52 when a interstellar transport accident resulted in the two of them joining The Doom Patrol until Flushpoint and the nU52.
There's a lot of comics out there. I haven't read them all.
Blis, if you can get past the weird mix of era's, which is admittedly still challenging for me, it's a good show.

It comes down to this: when the reboot happened, DCs excuse for Destroying both Barbara Gordon and Stephanie Brown's characters was that they wanted to go with the Batgirl everybody knew.
Without ever acknowledging WHY she was the one everybody knew.
Which, of course, is because they never did anything with any of the others.
If you do not showcase a character, how in the hell is anybody expected to know anything about them?
So, when they gave Wally Bart's costume, and put him on Bart's team, I drew a line. One I refuse to cross unless it is for my favorite character.
End of story.

I get your point but the costume is not one either KF wore in the comics and since Dick was Robin it couldn't really be called Bart's team. This show is a legacy show. I think a reason they did what they did was to put the familiar faces out there first and then graft some legacy characters in. I'd be shocked if TF didn't get pretty close with his prediction about the Flash family.

It is Young Justice. Dick and Wally had nothing to do with Young Justice.
That's what I meant when I said "Bart's Team".
And KF's costume is closer to Bart's than Wally's.
If you think I am making a big deal over this, how would you feel if Captain America in The Avengers was Bucky Barnes?
He was Cap once too. He was an Avenger. One Cap is as good as another. That's the message being sent here. At least until they set things right.

It is Young Justice. Dick and Wally had nothing to do with Young Justice.
This is Young Justice in the sense that the category of teen featuring comics are called Young Justice. They do not adopt that name in the series.
That's what I meant when I said "Bart's Team".
That make's sense though.

I was not saying you were making too big a deal about it. I was just conversing with you.
I don't care if you watch it or not. If you don't think you'll like it don't bother. I have some of the same issues though it is the overall cluster fuck of continuity that anything related to one particular character.
My thinking is that it's fun to see versions of these guys moving around and making noise though so I am entertained.

Well, I can imagine. But I have waited twenty years for my favorite character to get some off the page time.
The closest I have gotten was Kyle Gallner on Smallville, and three seconds on the promo reel for Justice League. Neither of which I would consider to be good, let alone enough.
I want to see him move, to hear him speak. And when this show was announced, I felt my time had come.
And then the rug was pulled out from under me.

Gotcha. well lets hope he shows up. and as impulse.
just so you know, his origin will likely be completely different and his costume will be tweaked but if its just a version of that character you care about I really think it will happen.

Well, I love Nu KF, so as long as the personality works, the character's look is fine.
I have been buying the toys (Still need Stealth KF, and the clear one), and mostly like the tweaked costumes, so I doubt I will hate Bart's toon costume, should it happen.
