They rebooted Batman.  They rebooted Hulk. They've rebooted both Spidey and Supes. There have been rumors of rebooting FF and even Daredevil.

So fuck it. Reboot Green Lantern with Fillion as Jordan. Hell, it's the part both he and Boreanaz have always wanted to play, and Fillion would still be perfect for the role.

I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

The Best Look Yet at Loki's Army From Marvel's The Avengers

by SuperHeroHype

April 18, 2012

Kept secret for some time, the alien army featured in Marvel's The Avengers has now been revealed in another form, that of Art Asylum and Diamond Select's Minimates and Marvel Select action figures. Check out the photos below the official product description, along with another new image of Marvel Select's Hawkeye figure, hitting comic book and specialty shops in July.

As part of Marvel Minimates Series 45, a 2-inch minifigure of Loki’s Army Footsoldier will come out in early May as part of a two-pack with Maria Hill. And be on the lookout for a rare variant set, which will pair the Footsoldier with his even more intimidating General! Then, in July, look for the 7-inch Marvel Select figure of the Footsoldier to hit stores, along with a bridge battle display base that connects to Hawkeye’s display base, forming a larger battle scene!

From IGN:

Could Hawkeye and Black Widow Beat the Hulk?

Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner talk up their S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

April 18, 2012

When IGN chatted with Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner -- a.k.a. the Black Widow and Hawkeye -- on the set of The Avengers, we discussed many topics, not the least of which was how two "puny humans" could hold their own against super-folk like the Hulk. Fans have often wondered how these two mere humans can stand up against alien invaders and Norse gods and the such. Whereas Thor, Hulk and the rest have superhuman abilities, Black Widow and Hawkeye are basically just regular people -- secret agent types, but still, regular people.

"Well, yeah, initially I thought that it was going to be weird, but then I found out a lot more about [it]," said Renner. "For me, for Hawkeye, I'm like, 'What's a bow and arrow going to do against the Hulk?' Actually, I have specialized things that I can't tell you anything really about, but I can put him down so it's pretty cool. [laughs] Yeah, all we are is humans with high skill sets, and I think what makes all characters interesting is that they all have weaknesses. That's what makes them human in that regard. What's Tony Stark without his suit?"

We also talked about how long Black Widow and Hawkeye have been working together, as well as whether or not there's more to their relationship than meets the eye.

"We've obviously known each other for a long time," Johansson explained. "We have a very rich history, the two characters, with one another."

Renner added that the two complement each other nicely.

"They've done a lot of missions together and they fight well together," he said, "and so you definitely get a sense that they've seen a lot of s#!t together."

When asked if romance can count among those missions, Johansson smirked.

"There's no time for romance," she laughed. "We have s#!t to avenge!"
