Keep your chin up, bro. I'm short on time due to 2 jobs, so I can't hit all the board's much anymore.  I spend more time reading & less posting. I don't always comment, but I always check this thread & Les's for the new Marvel stuff. I'm Iffy on hasblo ML & y'all are blowing them out the water with your Marvel conversions! It's always awesome to see how a Marvel icon would've looked if they'd gotten the star treatment. Keep up the good work & I hope TF comes up with a long list.  Grin Thumb's Up

This is the first custom I've done for myself in quite a while.

The inspiration for this was the short-lived "Revolution" costume. Also, I wanted a "DCUC" version of the character. Grin

Kurt's costume had a big X across the chest area and also had shoulder pads. This uniform had two versions in different colorschemes. One has a red X on a blue bodysuit. The other had a white X on a dark red bodysuit. Neither one was drawn consistently. Sometimes they had the red glove and boot cuffs, sometimes not. I decided to add them to make it more in line with the "classic" costume.  Also added the swords to make it more Nightcrawlery.






The one I made was inspired by both of these, with the red chest with a white "X".

So, without further ado...

Had to sand down ALL the metallic blue, then basecoat with flat white, then paint the gloss red and gloss white over that. Yeah, it wasn't pleasant.
