Re-reading two of my favorite books right now.... Palahniuk's Fight Club and Choke.
I love the way this guy writes (Fincher's movie captured his narrative perfectly), and the underlying themes...

Well, I've still not made it to the store to buy DT8, but I did finish Gerald's Game and am about halfway through Dark Half. So much for a break from ol' Steve-O.

Man, I just felt so completely finished with the Dark Tower after the last book that I'm not sure I even want to go back to read an interstitial. Still though, I'm sure I'll get the urge eventually.
I'm more interested in Doctor Sleep. A sequel to the Shining starring a grown-up Danny Torrance? Yes please.

I'm sure I'll read this one as well, but it almost feels like I'll be reading it just because it's King. I really don't find the concept interesting.

Back onto
A Clash of Kings
now that Game of Thrones season 2 is more than halfway over. About 300 pages in, and I'm already seeing some differences, but they'll bother me less reading the book after seeing it on TV. This wayk, I get to appreciate all the detail in the books, rather than be disappointed in what gets changed/left out of the show.

It was ok. Nothing spectacular. Definitely a little bit of him chest-thumping about the process of writing, IMO.

Finished Wind Through the Keyhole earlier this evening. Good stuff, much shorter than I would have liked though.

I just finished reading part one of Kindle book series called Vs. Reality. If you like superheros or just a fun read I'd recommend it. It's only for a kindle or any device which can run the kindle app. It's only a dollar so it wouldn't really cost a whole lot to give it a try. It really is superfun.

Not reading, but I did start listening to the audiobook of Ex-Heroes by Peter Clines. It follows a group of superheroes trying to protect a small settlement of survivors during a zombie apocalypse; Avengers meets Walking Dead, if you will.
Fun concept, but not very well written at all. I doubt I'll go back to finish it. It just wasn't very compelling.

Bought Chris Jericho's second book Undisputed on Saturday, finished it Monday evening. Good stuff. He and Foley definitely had the best of the wrestling bio books that hit the market so heavy there for a while.

Hyperion
I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.
