I think that's good news for the JLU crew.... I took from that no plans to end the line soon.

My favorite non-Mess question among those was the business about the frequent inability for the figure(s) to hold their gun(s). Never occurred to me that it might be due to the way the figure is packaged with the gun already in hand (I didn't realize the gun was always already in the figure's hand).

The Wally wave just got slightly easier. no variants, no Worlds Greatest. More room on the pegs for the figures themselves.

Yeah, they got to get that fixed, it's annoying as hell.

Of all those website questions, lots of re-asking stuff that already had been answered by other sites, but I think the most newsworthy question that got answered was Gard's...
"There seems to be a lot of changes going on in DC Comics. Does that affect Mattel's agreement with DC in any way? I'm thinking Red Circle/Archie, Milestone, the Spirit, Doc Savage, etc being added to the mix. Any chance of some of these characters in DCUC any time soon?"
Our agreement with DC covers the standard DC Universe Superheroes and villains. We will not be doing figures based on any new DC acquisitions at this time.
Isn't Static a Milestone character? If he happens, I guess they don't consider him a "new" acquisition.
Ah well. No Doc Savage anytime soon. Bummer.

Reading the DCnU is like trying to shit a brick. It's agonizing. While I'm one of the few people around here who thought there might be some actual merit in a relaunch, the execution has been just that, an execution.

I haven't had a problem with anyone's "gun hand" yet.

The key here is hopefully "at this time". Since Hasbro and Marvel re-upped until 2017, it's pretty likely Mattel and DC will too. Like the Cold War USA and USSR. Like Coke and Pepsi. Like Ford and
GM
. Well you get the picture.
They have to balance each other out.

Really? I think the only guy that can hold a gun in my collection is Deathstroke. At least hold it snugly.

All He-Man and Ghostbusters questions. Not a DCUC query in the bunch.

I hadn't realized the formal knell on MOVIE MASTERS.
I apologize for my question (#1)- in hindsight they wouldn't publicly admit weakness.
I
would
emphasize a generic packaging for Matty.com JLU figures, if that translates to lower prices OR more value into the figures (items packed-in, etc). What do others think?

I've had to wrap a clear rubber band around the handle of Gentleman Ghost's gun to get him to stay holding it. Same thing with Captain Cold. Blue Beetle can't hold his "gun" in his right hand. Fits fine in the left.

VeeBee is a good guy. But he has some inside baseball type info and I don't think he wants to ask leading questions. He walks a pretty fine line. He is "management".
It is pretty interesting that we will see three full waves of DCUC. I've not heard one word of rumors/gossip on wave 12.
