Martian Manhunter is weak like Ukraine.

Seriously, the dude has a glass jaw.

Played through as Batman and Superman with the Boy....Batman is a gas.  Supes is more durable but Batman is more fun.  Zatanna is surprisingly fun. 

So far I agree with your assessment, MUA is a better game, but the joy factor is about even because its' a gas to play these characters.

Wait til you're playing Hal n' Ollie or Jay Garrick and Kal-L.

Remember to pick up your boosts, and you'll need a protection spell for Zatanna soonest. Don't ask why.

Also remember to collect the gold shields for unlocking the other costumes and characters. Olliie, powered up, is the shit.

To my knowlege there aren't any exclusive characters in this game like there were with Ultimate Alliance.

Yeah, John's unlocked them all.  I know Earth-2 Supes is in there, and I think the Earth-2 Flash.  Hal is unlockable as is Green Arrow.

The unlockables are Aquaman, Green Arrow, Hal, Kyle, Hawkgirl, Huntress and ps2 doesn't have em, but every other console has Supergirl and Black Canary; the E-2 heroes are unlockable outfits for Flash and Superman.

PS2 doesn't have any of those characters??? Huh  I didn't think there were exclusives for this title.  It only shipped for PS2 and Xbox.

Yeah; I figured the Flash and Superman were cosmetic changes. But seeing Jay on my tv is just too cool to pass up. Too bad they didn't do Alan too.

Looks like I'll be buying this for X-Box. Thanks for the info.  Smiley

I think Trans has all his old systems too. 

I still have my Coleco Pong, but everything else is gone.  I got out of games for a bit after Sega CD.  I missed out on the N64, Playstation 1 and 2 and the Xbox.  I recently got back in because the quality of games have surpassed the PC, that and the PC is focusing more on MMORPG, which I'm not into at all.  I like the big, expansive action RPG ala Morrowind or KNights of the Old Republic, and there's a bunch of those that are headed to the 360.  Mass Effect is supposed to have some 300 playable planets in that one game alone.

I only had a Nintendo with maybe 10 games when I was a kid. Mostly those $20 and under clunkers. I finally got into videogames with the N64 because I could afford it. Then one fateful day I stepped into a Funcoland and saw Nintendo games for $2 and under. Nostalgia came at me hard and swift. sniffle. I'm mostly into RPGs and games like Resident Evil/Dino Crisis on the newer systems. But my real love is still classic NES.

Sorry. That post was done from my phone. I don't have a computer at the house at the moment, it's in for repairs because someone spilled juice on it, mentioning no names but he was born last year...

PS2 doesn't have Black Canary and Supergirl, it has all the rest.

Jay and Supes look great, and to be honest, as a JSA fanatic, it's kinda ruined the game, because now I can't play anyone else when I get to pick teams. The problem with Jay is that his "speed-line" that follows him is still in Wally's colours - if that sounds weird, you'll see what I mean. And yes, playing them is fucking amazing.
I'm baffled as to why we got no Alan, but then again, he and Jay aren't joined at the hip. It would've been nice though.


One more thing: No unlockable outfits for the unlockable characters. No camo, classic or hookhand Aquaman, no Silver Age or Longbow Hunters Ollie.
