Happy to see Protector there. It's been ten years of "Legends" and five years of "Classics", we really should all know by now they're marketing names. I'm glad to see newer characters included like this.

I'm fine with Protector as he's been a major character in Bendis' Avengers run (across several titles).

No B.A.F means I get to cherry pick Blade, Moonstar, She-Rulk, Archangel, etc, without the need for another Cap, Deadpool, Doom or Punisher.

Some info from Hiro from Fwoosh from chatting with Dwight:


Sentry is an all new sculpt that is about 1/2 and inch smaller that the Wrecking Crew guys.
- She Rulk is an all new sculpt.
- Dr. Doom actually has paint on his metal parts, instead of just being cast in silver plastic.
- Neo-Classic Iron Man will only have the moon boot version for now. They hope to get the more streamlined version out later.
- The Sentry body was specifically called out as being designed with a modern Luke Cage in mind.
- The white Iron Fist will be the variant for the Protector.
- ML 3 has no BAF for a few reasons: body reuse is one, but so are all the new accessories that are coming with Blade, Punisher, and Mystique. He indicated that there may be a new BAF revealed at the panel.
- Jesse will be at the panel.
- Dwight wants to sneak the Avengers Hulk into a ML wave next year with a comic head.
- They are aware of the rubbery joints issue with the recent Avengers wave, and Dwight is working on resolving it.
- Dwight wishes they had used the new Sentry body for Drax.
- There is a slim chance of getting some more cosmic marvel figs in the line. (He admitted that he wanted to do Blastaar and Annihilation Nova.)
-Oh, I remembered one more thing, Dwight specifically asked me about using that Sentry body for a classic Tigershark (like the MU one). I told him "Hell Yes!!!"
