I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

So, time for the B:TAS and some seasons of JL to make their way cross the pond then.

He's a Superman, not a Batman kid, but doesn't quite get Supes' secret identity name in the right order yet... Grin

Very cute.  Smiley

I can't imagine how awesome it would be to be a kid and have both parents love comic books.  Too freakin' cool.

 Readin' comics...

3. It's the Batmobile, it wouldn't get a flat tyre

A.  Has he never sang "Jingle bells, Batman smells...?"

B.  Show him this:

C.  Really?  You guys even spell tire weird?  "The Oxford English Dictionary suggests that the word derives from "attire",[1] while other sources suggest a connection with the verb "to tie".[2] From the 15th to the 17th centuries the spellings tire and tyre were used without distinction;[1] but by 1700 tyre had become obsolete and tire remained as the settled spelling.[1] In the UK, the spelling tyre was revived in the 19th century for pneumatic tires, though many continued to use tire for the iron variety. The Times newspaper in Britain was still using tire as late as 1905.[3] The 1911 edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica states that "[t]he spelling 'tyre' is not now accepted by the best English authorities, and is unrecognized in the US",[2] while Fowler's Modern English Usage of 1926 says that "there is nothing to be said for 'tyre', which is etymologically wrong, as well as needlessly divergent from our own [sc. British] older & the present American usage".[1] However, over the course of the 20th century tyre became established as the standard British spelling."

Tyre is never spelt tire here.

Tire is what happens when you've run to long.

I love the complexity of the English language!

1. Yes, this year, I taught it him.

2. He'd tell you, you'd bought a dodgy one...

3. It's TYRE!

Very cute.  Smiley

This why he has only started 'liking' them. It's just boring old parent stuff...

So, time for the B:TAS and some seasons of JL to make their way cross the pond then.

That's very kind of you but like J says, he has access to them.

I think the reason he caught on with these, is the Superman cartoons are bright, and a slower pace... you don't get any of that real funky cartoon sound effects and shadows which you get with Bats, which is all good for JD!! Thumb's Up Smiley

Ask Gill about the cheeky wink he gave her when we met him a few years ago. She'll tell that story at the drop of a bat-hat.  Wink

Not watched it, but apparently according to the article there's a lot for 1966 Bat-TV heads to love on this video.

I was four when Batman started on TV. I used to call my parents into the living room to read the words from the fight scene, BIFF! POW! WHAM!
