See, why couldn't they make these things when I was a kid?  Between these and the Infinite Heroes, Darth Vader and Cobra Commander would have had their asses KICKED.

By next Christmas, it is going to be really interesting seeing what all is in my son's toy box.

Man, these are sweet.  I'm sorely tempted to cash in my 6 inch figures and just go with these.  I need space dammit!

Think about the displays you could do Meas, since DCIH will look more like this next year. You can have GI Joe's as members of SHIELD, Adam Strange and Nova (if they make him) flying around with Han and Chewy in the Falcon.

I've actually been thinking about that too.  Less than half the price of the six-inchers and a fuck of a lot easier to find.  Not crazy about the three packs but may bite the bullet anyway.

I'm sticking with the 1:12 but I may get these or their DC counterparts for Little Man, should he see them in the store (which he no doubt eventually will) and want them (ditto). I prefer the more detailed sculpts. In fact, I prefer the 1:6 scale, but DCD's are so hit and miss.

I can't shake the feeling that these little fuckers are going to replace the 6" line in the not so distant future.

I hope not, at least not until DCUC have finished their run. I'm not getting stuck with half a collection.

I do prefer the 1/12th scale for sure, but they do take up quite a bit of room.  Also, the vehicle/playset aspect of the 3.75 lines really appeal to me.

See, I'm not that bothered about that. I'd like a Battle Cat, and a Winged Victory, but otherwise, I'm fine. Although some awesome, DIY dioramas might set the display off.

But...that's the DCD motto!  "Give 'em HALF of what they want!"

I don't know, I just get the feeling that Hasbro (and maybe Mattel) are looking at the cost of 6" figures, and thinking it'd be better to make the scale shift than try to get people to pay $15+ for a single figure.

Here is something for you. My wife found the Rattler and bought it for my son to give him after he got some of his immunization shots. After I superglued the engine parts on the wings together (GASP SHOCK HORROR) so that they wouldn't go flying off she gave it to him. For the past couple of days Wild Weasel has been flying, but he's got Mirror Master in the gun turret.

That's probably the most useful Mirror Master has been in years.
