Just an observation...do you notice that at the end of each season, a bunch of dead wood characters get offed? So they can introduce new cast members next season.  |

Hmmm. Lafayette becomes a medium, and the two people closest to him die. I get the feeling Tara will be making some ghostly appearances, but I bet they'll be limited. They've had a hard time making her relevant.
Sort of like on "Lost" when Boone died. They had his sister hook up with Sayid to give her a purpose. Eventually they just killed her off. They might as well have had Boone fall on her.
I wonder who dug up Russell? Everyone who knows where he's buried is on his shit-list.

I doubt Newlin got turned. It was Halloween. He had fake fangs to freak Jason out. I also doubt Tera is dead. Bill or Eric or both will show up and give her some blood. I was shocked by Nan's death though. And the demise of Jesus sucks as well as he's about the only really likeable character, along with Alcide, on the show. Glad Debbie's gone though. Also, does it seem like Bill and Eric are up to something aside from protecting Sookie? |

Mmmm, I'm thinking Newlin is indeed a vamp. Woulda been different if he'd just opened his mouth and had fangs there, but the way he smiled and then had the fangs pop makes me think he's gone over. We'll see in about 8 months I guess.  |

I thought it would've made for a much better cliffhanger had Sookie been calling for help and Edginton showed up at the window instead of Eric or Bill. Agree about Jesus. |

Yeah....but with the exception of Sophie Anne and Claudine most of them are either charecters who were created specifically for the show or else only had minor roles in the books. |

Cool. +1. Random thoughts about the season finale: The lovely Miss Woll finally bares it all.   Holly becomes a player. There must be some crazy shit in Terry's past if the ghost of Rene comes back to warn Arlene. Edgington looks to be the series Dr. Doom. The only way Bill and Eric get out of this is to deal with him for the AVL and the Authority. The Sam/Luna romance is destined for disaster. Is Pam gonna try to kill Sookie? Where in the blue fuck is Crystal? I thought that was her knocking on Jason's door after Jess left. Instead it was Newlin. |

I was wondering the same thing. Jason gets half-eaten and raped by werepanthers with the purpose of turning him into a werepanther, and then it's like, "Oh! I didn't turn. Moving on!" And I still can't believe that it hasn't occurred to anyone that he's half-fairy, too. Lafayette has grown more over-the-top as the seasons have progressed. Jesus gave him some balance. I really liked those two together. I don't think vampire blood can help Tara. They made a pretty graphic show out of her skull being blown off. Their blood only works if you're hanging onto life. That said, I think they made it so clear that she's dead that she's probably not. :p |
