Is there anything people are looking forward to, game-wise?

The game I'm looking forward to most is a game for the X-box 360 called Mass Effect. If you're familiar at all with the Knights of the Old Republic games, it's similiar to that, except the action is real time and there are literally over a 100 different planets to explore. Plus it features true next gen graphics. It's an action/RPG that is the biggest of it's kind in scope to this date.
The action/RPG is my favorite genre of game...it most resembles actual story-telling and is a far more immersive experience than other genres of games.
I'll definitely post a review when it comes out.

Is that one of those online-based games that has virtually no single-player mode? I hate it when the developers do stuff like that.

I love RockStar Games... so that Bully game looks... hmm... I saw a preview and thought... maybe?? I don't know. I play so few games nowa'days, it's probably not worth it. I'll just grab Marvel Alliance for X-Mas, and be done with it. My ONE game a year - next year will be FF12. YES! (I'll get it Jan.1,07. See? Next year.)

No it's a single player game. They may have some mulitplayer function built it, but's it's built around a single player concept. I don't really get off on MMORPGs, it gives other people too much control over your gaming enjoyment.

Then my interest level just shot up about a thousand percent. Of course, that means I'd need to get a 360. Aw, nutz.

I'll see if I can get you a link. This game is pretty much what sold me on the 360..

Here you go:
http://masseffect.bioware.com/
In case you didn't know Bioware is the company that did the Baldur's Gate games and the first Knights of the Old Republic. They're pretty much the best at the RPG, Action/RPG..they actually turned over Knights of the Old REpublic II to someone else so they could start on this game...it's supposed to be a bit of an evoluntionary jump in gaming. Anyways check it out.

Me and Squirrel got fucking pumped up when San Andreas came out. We were jamming on it simultaneously, which is a pretty fun experience. Kinda like how there used to be shows on TV worth talking about seeing the next day.

Dude, I lived San Andreas, I don't need to play it in a game. I'm trying to put those days behind me.

Well, for us crackers who can't live San Andreas (primarily because of the wife and kids - my arch-nemesi?? -nemeses?? -nemesees??), it was a wild, awesome ride. That was the
best
second best game I've ever played. Period. Best game? Take a CIV game. Any game. Name it. Civ IV? Best. Civ II? Best. Civ I? Damn near flunked high school because of that fucking game. I'm a recovering CIV-aholic. "No more turns..."

Well I'm white and live in the suburbs, but we had a gang. One time we knocked over my neighbors garbage cans... You ever see the movie Office Space? When they jack up that fax machine? IT was crazy like that shit.
