On another note, I wouldn't have a problem with paying $30 to $35 for one-offs of Glimmer, Castaspella, Mantenna, and a few others.  If he dropped all of the other crap and just put out the obvious figures that are still missing, even with the different factions, I think it would work.

Same here. I think the main cast and most of the secondary characters would do fine without a subscription. Even at higher prices. There're enough people who want the remaining vintage figures from MOTU, 200x and PoP, maybe even NA and the Filmation stuff that they'd have no problem selling out. It's the oddball stuff like Demo-Man or the Star Sisters who the subscription benefits. And honestly I think if that stuff were removed, the subscription numbers as a whole would benefit anyway.

The fact that these assholes STILL blame fans for things is quite simply unbelievable.  "The fans don't want to pay the extra $5, and it has nothing to do with anything else".  They can't possibly be stupid enought to believe that is the reason, and not the shabby paint, Digital Fucking River, Slowassgistics, less articulation, NO ACCESSORIES, and piss poor character selection about 40% of the time.......no, no, NO.....its the $5 that the fans don't want to pay.  Add all those, PLUS more money, and there you have it.

Let the subs fail.....fuck it......hopefully they'll be mass lay offs....then lets see how those guys feel about needing that $5 extra dollars per figure that cost them EVERYTHING, when they have no paycheck for a bit.

I love the toys, and would happily buy anything that doesn't completely suck....but at this point, if they fail, it would be a downright relief to never read anything these assholes have to say ever again.

To be clear, it's not Mattel that stresses me out this time of year. It's the collectors. Whatever each of us may think of Mattel or the subscription model, all the shit that goes down between each of us, all the nasty parts of us that get trotted out, are completely on each of us.

Mattel's just a stupid toy company, they don't really bug me. It's running around my favorite forums this last week that has left me totally turned off.

I want to close-up shop at IAT and go on vacation until mid-August. I barely got that John Blake review done yesterday and I'm staring at a blank canvas for tomorrow's update and have zero desire to bother with it.

Wow Lt's of folks finally speaking out over at TNI huh. I can't really say i disagree with most of it. Why put collectors through these hoops why not just say fuck it and bring this to fucking retail. With better distribution. People talking about digital river (which i hate as well). I ordered a reg ray but got trench coat ray from ghostbusters i called them to get it changed they said they did not have anymore but would refund me after i paid the shipping back to them. then I'd say a month later they fucking started selling reg ray all fucking year.

From what many of us have seen weather it be mattel or toy guru or who ever runs this shit they do nothing but falsify there numbers to get people to buy as much as they can so they(The big wigs) can live it up on our money.

Let the line die let dc universe die and motu die because then at some point a better toy company will buy the rights and do what should have been done all long, Which is put out a better product for a cheaper price.

Neca is great bUT they do use the same molds as well like there predator lines but still keep there figures at a reasonable cost which i love. evil dead again same thing.but damn there toys are so kool.

Theres no real easy fix but matty.com or TG or mattel could treat us alot better than this shit they have been doing for the past 5 years
