I was going to pass on these HOWEVER I noticed in a local advertisement that they had their DC product--toys, movies etc--half off so I went to Walmart and grabbed Batman, Bane and Alfred for $9 a piece which made me feel better given the fact that I only really wanted them for the Batsignal pieces.  If anyone wants Batman or Alfred figures minus the CnC pieces let me know and we can split those for 4.50 a piece + shipping

Don't you have to get 6 to complete the Bat-signal?

Yes but only 4 are out now--those 3 + Catwoman which isn't in the cases WM and Target and TRU are receiving.  Apparently Meijers is the only one so far gettin them

Tonight I'm looking at more Dark Knight figures - this time, the new Movie Masters! I'm covering Batman, Bane, Catwoman and Alfred, and while none of them are perfect, they certainly are wetting my appetite for the film.

You can find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Spotted these guys at Walmart this morning.  Could only get one, so I went with Alfred since I'm sure Bats and Bane won't be too difficult to find and this was the only butler available.

This is something I definitely did not expect to see.

Just announced, McFarlane Toys will release a new figure: Hines Ward in a black and yellow Gotham Rogues jersey as seen in the film on a special The Dark Knight Rises base.

Alfred is a very cool, if short, figure.  He also comes with part of the housing/shell for the C&C Bat-Signal, which may be the greatest toy made in this particular line.  Alfred re-uses the Joker/Goon buck from the TDK MM line, so he's not in scale with the DCUC line.  Not too big of an issue with Alfred, since I don't really need the butler to be perfectly in scale.  His head is larger than it should be for the body size, so he looks a bit odd, but it's a pretty good likeness of Michael Caine.  The C&C part looks good, and I can't wait to get this thing completed.  The paintwork makes it look a bit weathered, which I love.  Nice to have any Alfred figure, and this guy was worth the $16.47 Walmart price tag.

Picked up MM Bane this weekend. Looking for the Butler.

Also discovered there is a TRU twopack featuring a shirtless Bane vs. Batman.

Prolly gonna wait for that one on clearance.

Just picked up an Alfred in damaged packaging at TRU for 15.00. I wouldn't have gotten him for full price, but I figured it was my civic duty to prevent any children from fighting over who gets to have the old Michael Caine figure. You're welcome, hypothetical parent.

Only interested in the Jim Gordon single card, which I've not found yet.

Good lord, sorry, but that Alfred is horrible.

For those looking for a cheaper option on a Bat Signal, I got that little book/signal combo yesterday and it's pretty sweet.

Reasonably in scale with 6" figures and the light is actually pretty powerful, throws the signal about a foot with no problem and no blurring.

Well worth the £4 I paid for it.

I found him. He's very nice. A big improvement on the two-pack, and his signal piece is a nice alternative. Actually found two but left one on the pegs as donation to the collecting universe, but since now all I see are Batman MMs far and wide, I'm thinking I should have snagged it for an Alfred trade.

There will be more.

Last movie Batman hung around while the rest flew off shelves, then a glut of Jokers, Scarecrows, and goons seem to have begun flooding shelves.

Don't freak out if you can't find anything initially, the only figure in this line that is gonna be hard to find is Catwoman.

Do you think? I see it being Alfred. I think the only risk with Catwoman is if her goggles truly are not meant to move up and down. Hearing reports of both.
