Here's my list, I tried not to look too much into other people's lists and am fully aware that my choices may not be very popular around here  laugh fuck it I went with toys I want to have on my shelf, but I did keep in mind stuff I think we NEED to complete stuff already started by Mattel. No particular order:

Zatanna (Perez costume)
Mr. Terrific (Sloan)
Johnny T. & Thunderbolt (I am perfectly fine with the Thunderbolt being a non-articulated accesory)
Huntress (Bertinelli)
Aquaman (hook and beard)
Kyle Rayner (FA)
Hush (I know, I know ...)
Speedy (Roy)
Aqualad (Garth)
Felix Faust

Extras:

Batman and Robin (Grayson/Damian) 2 pack, alternate unmasked heads. Release it as a con exclusive, rerelease it at retail later, laugh all the way to the bank. You are welcome Mattel

Will Magnus and Niles Caulder 2 pack.

These lists really puts into perspective how much cool stuff is still out there for Mattel to do. Almost made the cut:

Mordru
Prometheus
More Rogues
Dawnstar
Oracle
Granny
Some Female Furies
Scandal, Ragdoll, and the rest of the Secret Six
Shining Knight/Winged Victory
Vigilante
Dove (Don Hall)
Killer Croc
Mad hatter
Talia
Ra's
Blok
Zauriel
Aztek
Salaak
80's Nightwing
90's Nightwing
A fuckin' proper 90's Tim Drake Robin
Royal Flush Gang (I REALLY want this, but the last thing we need is to start another team that may never be completed)
Tommy Tomorrow
Vandal Savage
Dark Flash (Walter West)

...

I'll stop now

Let the record show that the only reason I did not list Paul Kirk MANHUNTER and BA BLACK LIGHTNING is because I own the DCD versions.

I wouldn't be upset if MATTEL made 'em, too.  Wink

If I could only get 10 more, I'd need me some completed teams!

1) Perez Zatanna - I get why we have the other one, but I need her to satisfy my Satellite OCD.  Hopefully she wouldn't be too much tooling.

2) Mr. Terrific - Ridiculous that he's never been made.

3) Star Spangled-Kid - He helps out soooooo many teams and would be sooooooo easy.

4) Sand

5) Hourman II

6) Liberty Belle II

7) Dr. Mid-Nite II

8) Kyle Rayner classic - Would need a new headsculpt though.  The crab mask is different!

9) Hook-handed Aquaman - though he might be a bit much in the tooling department

10) JLA-era Steel - An odd choice, but of the second-tier JLA'ers I love this redesign the most.  Again, possibly tooling-prohibitive, but I think it could be done.

Big boys:

1) Johnny Thunder w/ T-Bolt - I'd like a big Bolt.  Throw in Jakeem!

2) King Shark - enough Monkys

Just got the DCD Black Lightning and Creeper a couple of weeks ago.  Bought the Manhunter when he came out.  If DCD had only done away with the T-crotches as originally expected, those figures would have been so awesome.  The sculpts are great, but even with the added articulation elsewhere, those T-Crotches make it almost impossible to do anything other than vanilla poses.

I liked these too. Showed that DCD was at least trying, in their usual half-assed way. Shame they never made a female. If only they'd squeezed out another wave anchored by GL and WW we'd have had the first 8 JLA'ers, with a smooth-browed SA J'onn and a SA Green Arrow.

Besides those t-crotch legs, the other problem is the scale is a tad big. If they had been slightly smaller they could've complemented mattel nicely.

Oddly enough, I find of all of them, Black Lightning fits well enough with DCUC, and Blue Devil is probably accurately sized for a guy inside a suit. If Mattel never gets back to Jefferson Pierce I can live with this one. Your mileage may vary.

How are you guys figuring Zuriel and Hook Hand Aquaman as limited tooling? I would like to put them on my list, or at least in the considerations but it seems they would both need quite a bit, wouldn't they?

I think most folks forgot the 'minimum tooling' rule around page 2.

They're both do-able.

Zauriel is nothing much more than a new head and some plastic overlay armour.

Aquaman is the same but for a new hook hand.

We still got figures like Atrocitus and Rocket Red with new overlays, so these two shouldn't be a big problem.

They won't be as nice as they should could be, but at this stage beggars can't be choosers.

A chest overlay on Aquaman would work, but he'd most definitely need a new arm.  Non sculpted scales on the legs would be pretty weak, but I'd take it if it was the only option.

I'd want new legs on Aquaman. Although I can see the point of take what we can get since those legs won't ever be reused for anyone else so that makes the figure way less likely to happen.

At least Aztek would be easy.
