DCC Art Prints

A selection of really nice limited art prints DCC are about to release.
Shame they went so heavy on Court of Owls/Rainbow Lantern crap, they really missed a trick by not including an art deco Opal City/Starman piece.
Guess that's not "nu" enough though.

If they weren't so expensive my apartment would be getting redecorated with those. Maybe if money is left over after the con we'll pick a few up

My favorite, though, is the STARFIRE.

my issue with these posters is that they are trying
so hard
to be deco and retro and neat-o, but they feel very half-assed and average. Some DC staffer was given the assignment, and they fully completed it, but there's no real lasting charm to any of them. Some basic art, run through a 'shop filter, and done.
Maybe it's just me.

I've always been more into posters and t-shorts that were obvious if you were "In the know", but somewhat subtler than screaming "Superman" in 3D with a generic shot of braking through brick or something.
I particularly like the Kandor one.

Yeah, the Graysons one is the only one I would consider, because it feels like something directly from the DCU.
