We all have Spotify right?
(available through Facebook if you don't, or for free online)
Thought it would be fun to get this going.
Have a listen to the ten above you, comment if you wish
and then post your list.
And remember, if you like it, buy it, because the musicians only see about 2 pence a listen.
Everyone is welcome to play
except
poot.
Because no cunt wants to hear Club Tropicana or Chesney Hawkes or whatever shite your eighties loving arse is rocking to right now.

Spotify is free and gives you ten hours of listening until you run out of time.
For those who don't want it, there's always You Tube.
Just thought this might be a bit of fun and something to talk about away from Mattel.

Chutzpah- You know I'm fond of the Wildhearts, love the chrous but I wish they hadn't used the vocal effects they did.
Alice- Classic!
Paul Gilbert- I've had a sticking point with this guy and I think it's his voice... I find it weak, but it's a rockin' little track. But I will have to go with a
for this one!
Dropkick Murphys- FUCKING AMAZING BAND!! Love them!! I still have to catch them live. They're a US Levellers!
Cheap Trick-
Cradle Of Filth- This track reminds me of a time I used to frequent a club called Rock Kitchen. They always go for the ''dramatic'' videos!! but have a good play on melody suprisingly! but not for me...
Bowie- He's a master. Nuff said!
Ginger- Awww... only fondness.
The Dogs- GREAT British band.
Eureka Machines- Never heard of them, but the song was pretty good! liked it a lot!
Exit International- Again, new to me. reminds me a little of the Electric Six

If you go to the main spotify site,
http://www.spotify.com/uk/
create a playlist and then choose embed.
You may have to install spotify on your P.C to do that though.
You'll have to do a little fiddling once you've posted, but you'll have a list like mine with a string with an embedded link in it.
Also, the whole albums of both the Eureka Machines and Exit_International are on the DVD I sent you as I had so much extra space.

Some cool stuff there.
I'm not sure I should like Blink182 - apart from the use of counterpoint - but I do, oddly.

This is a track for track reproduction of an album that I *loved* when I was eight... a Ronco compilation album called FUN ROCK.
Nothing pretentious, or even especially artistic — save Sammy Davis Jr. (who was like the Terry Austin of music. What ever he touched was raised to another art form, even the piffly gimcrack of a tune on this album.) and the Monkees.
Let the Fun Rock begin!
Anyway, this should say tons about me.

Dunno about Blink 182...but we're all allowed a few skeletons in our musical closet.
The Clash track is a classic of course, though I like Safe European Home from the Give 'em Enough Rope album the most.
Can't go wrong with the Living Dead Guy.
I've never known what to make of Tom Waits.
Haven't heard much of the Levellers, but that was a good tune.
I shall have a listen to Mirthy's playlist later this evening.
