Just came across this little thing -- and knowing how many Grant Morrison fans are here at the Mess, figured I should post a link:

I now have to rewatch the Dark Knight and see the whole split in half thing he talked about...a light half and a dark half.

Great link!

I'm sure I sorta remember Adam West mentioning his parents death, like, once.

He's missing a bunch of animated Batman cartoon efforts, too. There were like 2 or 3 series by Filmation, weren't there?

Yeah, there was the Batman cartoon from the late 60's, another one from the late 70's...and I think his one animated reference (which is technically incorrect based on WHEN he says it aired) is only to BTAS, no?  So the later "The Batman" cartoon isn't in the mix...nor the Brave & Bold cartoon.

And then there's Batman's constant presence in the Super Friends and JL/JLU...

To be honest, I think he should have just done this as Live Action only to avoid any confusion.  But only nit-picking geeks like us would really care, I guess!

I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

Grant hit on where things changed in terms of storytelling.

Super Friends, the Batman cartoons of the 70's and 80's, and 'The Batman' didn't take Batman in any new directions or influence what came next, they sort of carried on with the last way he was shown.

Brave and the Bold may have changed things, but we've yet to see the next one so it's hard to tell.

Point for getting something which clearly escaped my meager brain.  Well done, good chap.
