For me its a 1.5 year old. And frankly, I'm kind of jealous. Of a toddler. This is a new low.
I know. It's worse when J.D. confidently asserts that "Daddy has enough figures,
anyway!"
I totally don't.

I think it's all cyclical.
I'm buying less toys than ever before, but my back issue purchases have increased. I get a thrill when an old issue of Avengers turns up.
But it's swings and roundabouts, we get different things out of these hobbies at different times. Here's hoping things will swing back and you'll be back and in fine form.
Anyway it goes, we'll still be here ready to hurl even amounts of support and foul language your way.

So I guess I'm back in on a very limited basis. Non DC heroes only. Characters that started outside the DCU. Quality, Fawcett, Charlton, Wildstorm and Milestone only. This adds up to about ten characters plus a few variants.
DC is the problem, so I cut them out of the equation.

Milestone?
Fuck that.
If we get an Icon before a proper Black Lightning or Hardware instead of Atomic Knight, heads are gonna roll.
Seriously, other than Static*, does anyone give a shit about these morts?
*
And let's be honest no-one gives a shit about him either, his DNU series lasted, what, all of seven issues or something?

I know, but they're official now. I'd also buy the Crusaders, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, and the Heroes of Terra Obscura too. And Top Ten.

Hah, I posted my Shadow Cabinet thing before even seeing your Milestone hating post.
Icon, Static and Hardware were on my top 10 for a long time before I got fed up and replaced them with guys I figured Mattel would obviously make.
Basically, sounds like you hate black people.
And by "proper Black Lightning", I'm assuming you mean this:

Sorry..what the fuck?
I hate Milestone..so I hate Black people.
I hate sushi too...must mean I hate Japanese people.
Milestone was a mess.
A forced attempt to "fit" black people into a universe where they were the "men".
I appreciate the sentiment, but I'd much rather that they'd have just concentrated on slotting some new black characters into the DCU and building them there.
Creating a new universe for them was simply reverse racism and forcing a point.
And I guess I'm not alone in thinking they suck, because the Milestone heroes have sunk without a trace.
Even the Golden Boy Static couldn't hold down his own series for more than seven odd issues.

I'm pretty sure Milestone would peg warm worse than Kamandi, OMAC, Captain Cold, Hourman, and Powergirl. Wildstorm may do a little better.

Static might sell on the strength of the cartoon.
The rest would moulder for years.

I didn't see much of a joke..just someone accusing me of being racist.
Kind of hard to get that kind of joke across online possibly.

Racist is the N word for white people. Nothing worse you can call us now a days. Although as a redhead I must admit that ginger occasionally feels like a racial slur.
It did read like a joke to me Jsay. But I think racism is hilarious.

It's so blatantly over the top how could you take it serious?
Hell, in the same post you're requesting a different black guy.
