I love looking for nods and parallels to A:TLA.

There was some creepy foreshadowing with the finale preview.
The Aang statue has been defaced with Amon's mask.

Yeah I noticed that too...waiting to see if it's in some sort of vision or reality.

I think the whole mask/statue thing is just Amon staking his claim on the city. Love that the Fire Nation General (voiced by the actor who voiced Zuko) is named "General Iroh". Anybody else think its one of Zuko's kids?

Could be grandson or could just be his youngest.

Can't wait for the finale, but then I remember that the show is gonna be gone for like a year afterwards

Well, that is one hell of a paradigm shift....
And....well, one of my predictions happened.

Yeah the whole... OH YEAH SPOILERS BELOW...
...the whole bloodbending taking away others bending seemed contrived to me. I dunno, loved the ending but the Amon reveal seemed kind of weak IMHO. Still an awesome episode and great payoff for the season. She airbends for the first time and we finally see Korra's avatar state.
Now the question becomes: What will season two be about? Continuing Korra fixing everyone?

It just hit me that Aang is really dead.

Yeah that is certainly guaranteed at this point.
Cal, I agree on the blood bending = bending removal thing. I want more of an explanation. The Amon reveal though didn't seem weak to me. It did explain his behavior and his ability to shake of Tarlock's blood bending.
