I've just recently decided to prune the DVR list.  I think I've been watching too much TV.  What I'm left with is a list of shows that I actually look forward to and sit down and watch instead of doing chores or playing around on the computer at the same time.  And some of my faves are coming back this summer like True Blood, Breaking Bad, and Futurama.  Gonna give Longmire and the new Dallas a shot too.  Other than that, my list goes like this:

Dramas

Sons of Anarchy
Fringe (was gonna drop but next season closes out the story, so I'll watch)
Justified
Walking Dead
Being Human
Breakout Kings
The Killing
Game of Thrones

Comedies

Modern Family
Happy Endings
New Girl

Cartoons

Young Justice: Invasion

Down from about 30 shows.  Pretty good. Grin

Movies take up most of the space on my DVR, although I do record quite a few TV shows.  I just tend not to keep them after I watch them.  The exceptions being Game of Thrones and Walking Dead.  I keep them on the machine until the blu-ray sets come out.

Boardwalk Empire
True Blood
Game of Thrones
The Big C
Big Bang Theory
Weeds
Nurse Jackie
Treme (not sure if it's coming back)
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (if it comes back)
The Office (needs to die, but I still watch)
Young Justice
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Raw
Smackdown
The Walking Dead
New Girl
South Park
There might be a few others I'm forgetting.

Also still going through Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, and Breaking Bad on Netflix.  And just watched the first ep of Luther, starring Idris Elba, and really liked it.
