Catman - written by Gail Simone from the old universe. He was well written by her, and this book could be king of cameos. It could almost be Catman - Brave and the Bold!

Although I'm tempted to pick one of my two favorite obscure Bat-Villains (Calendar Man or Signalman)...

I think I gotta go classic and say Two-Face (surprisingly tough, as I waffled between Harvey and a half-dozen others).

Seems like every character that comes to mind -- has had a series or been the main star of a book at one time or another (Deadman, Phantom Stranger, Adam Strange, the Spectre and a host of other Classic JSA members).  So it feels like any answer -- is technically going to be incorrect.

That said -- even if he's not really a favorite character of mine -- a current Mr. Terrific comic could be cool if done right.

Bill Finger -- not just to get insight into the mind that hatched so many Bat-ideas...but for once and for all find out how much (or little) Bob Kane really screwed him over.

Almost chose Mister Grayson, but realized the best answer was really Wally West's Kid Flash taking over the Flash mantle.

While there are some great BAtman stories I could have went with, not to mention a few JLA stories (for some reason, I've always loved #194 -- with the tarot cards coming to life)...but I have to pick DC Comics Presents #24 featuring Superman & Deadman in "The Man Who Was the World".  One of the best written and best drawn comics ever, period.

However -- BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD covered both bases, and was witty as all fuck.  Heck, my ringtone is the theme!

Fuck, I'm not even sure who or what constitutes a "B-Lister" in the Marvel Universe anymore.  Two of my all time faves were always the Thing and then Daredevil -- so there's my 1st & 2nd choices.

I could just say Gardner Fox and be done with it.  But Johns & Robinson brought me back to the comic buying fold after several 4-color panel free years.

I'm not going to pick a Beatles album.  I'd probably pick an album that I (a) listened to a WHOLE lot and (b) defined a period of time in my life.  So I'm going to pick Glass Houses by Billy Joel and So by Peter Gabriel.  Ask me tomorrow and you'll get a different answer (Superunknown by Soundgarden, Automatic for the People by REM, The Cars; debut album and Led Zeppelin III are a few others that come to mind).
