I am sooooo aggrivated!  I saw this at WALMART today.  It's the best Goddamned CAP Shrinky Dink I've ever seen, but it comes with a big ass acessory that I don't want:

I think they use the same sculpt on a TRU exclusive with a lighted base.

Also, have you seen the K Mart exclusive three pack?

Yeah... the local KMART has a ton of them, but every single one I've looked at has horribly bowed legs from the vacuum packaging.  I mean bad.

I'm really hoping another good one turns up single carded.  With all this AVENGERS hype, there's probably a halfway decent chance.  If not, I might go with the 3 pack and some water that's hotter than the core of the sun.

*EDIT
Just spotted a HEAVY ARTILLERY Cap on the TOYSRUS website.  Very nice!

You can get that one from the Dollar General Store, no shit. 6 bucks. I was there looking for the GI Joe stuff they're supposed to be getting in there.

Well, not exactly.  The DG one has lessened articulation from the usual MU.  They basically have OG Star Wars POA.

I have the Heavy Artillery version as my classic Cap.  The mech suit one seems to have thigh cuts, which I don't recall on the the HA one (he's bagged up and boxed atm or I'd check).

That's whack.

I have one from that 3 pack, it had MI-13 Captain Britain, so that was a pretty good score for me.

I agree. That's a great looking figure and I hate that you have to get the giant suit with him.

Looks like this is kinda the go-to comic book Cap sculpt these days. It'll come around again, I bet.

The armor would make it cost double and go in a box never to be used again.

Here's the one I was talking about.

They also did a Buckycap.

That one is cool too. I like the brighter colors on the other one but that would work.

Yeah, I compared the two. The Carolina Blue on the armor one is nice, and the face is a better sculpt.

I'm pretty sure this one is mostly (if not completely) the same one from the KMart 3 pack.

This whole thing makes me realize that I fucking despise the combination of awkwardly posed figures + vacuum packaging.  Terrible duo.

But yeah, I think this will turn up again.

Yeah, the face has a kind of blocky square jawed look. I'm seeing plenty right now so I have time to think about it as I decide which scale I am going to get and whether I go for the movie or comic versions.
