I'm slowly but surely getting through those Walmart exclusive Avengers figures, with tonight's review covering Loki.

I also have a cool guest review from Ryan Siller, who is checking out Hot Toys Baby Doll figure. You can find the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading, and happy fourth to the Americans!

I'm bleeding this poor Walmart wave of Avengers figures to death, but things are a little dry right now. That's about to change with Comic-Con this week, and my coverage will start tomorrow night. Tonight's review will be the last for me til next week, but I'll have photo coverage from tons of companies and lines over the next few days. Until then, check out Thor at the usual:

With Avengers figures seemingly expanding to more Walmarts, I thought it'd be a good time to drop two more reviews at IAT: http://www.itsalltrue.net/

I just need Hulk and Iron Man.

Or.....the rarest figure, and the most common......

Pretty sure Hasbro aren't making any more 6" Avengers figures, so no Black Widow.  At least not for this movie.  Low sales is to blame, and judging by the crowded Walmart pegs around here, I can believe it.  Not sure about the MU-sized figures.

Low sales. Really? Hell everytime any walmart restocked they were gone except for iron man which i am sure hasbro kew would sit around. even the thors went within a few days. I got soooo lucky and found hulk and hawkeye case fresh at a walmart 30 min from me.

But hell even in the marvel legends line they could throw us the movie BW. Thats piss poor marketing if you ask me. I mean Widow is one of the ones they knew we would want. Not another ironman hell they still have warmachine and ironman from the move at my Toys r us

You guys find the running change between Cap, Loki, and Hawkeye still seems 50/50 split? One Hawkeye has metallic sunglass lemses and blue pants, Loki is more yellow rather than gold, and one Cap is basically pure blue and red plastic vs the other one which looks more like the 3 3/4 figure with subdued hues.

Speaking of the 3 3/4 stuff, the Chitauri figures are pretty crappy articulation wise and that new Shatterblast Iron Man [mark 7] which is supposed to be super poseable, just has ankle articulation added [not worth bothering over].

My WM had at least 6 of everyone the other day (except Hulk, who there was only one of), looks like these are still shipping and in greater numbers.

Did they paint the eyepatch string badly, Powers? Like the machine missed or something?
