As long as it's not the Loki scene or that face Loki had afterwards I won't care. But that few seconds of epicness is my new religion.

Indeed  laugh

The best thing about it is that by that point, you truly fucking hate Loki. He's the ultimate Eddie Haskell, and when he mouths off to Hulk the way the scene is constructed and since there's been a precedent set for it, you think you're about to see a fight. Then that shit happens.

Most notable omissions are Hank/Janet and Dr. Strange.

Plus I love how Hulk doesn't even wait for him to finish his sentence before he starts beating the piss out of him.  Hulk doesn't give a shit what you say, Loki.  Fuck you.  Smiley

Avengers has already made 415 million dollars worldwide.

Does anyone think there WON'T be an Avengers 2?

Anyone?  Anyone?

Yeah, that's the other thing. Everybody always let Loki talk and talk and get in their heads.

Pretty funny. Thor looked so funny in that scene.

So, did Hulk get massive reactions in the theaters you guys saw it? Ours erupted multiple times towards the end of the movie. It was a brilliant build from the "Hulk,...SMASH" line from Cap, to the look on Hulk's face, to the action to the sucker punch and then that beat down on Loki in the middle of his villain speech?

I don't know if he got "massive reactions", but certainly laughs. Of course, there was some schmuck in the back row -- who laughed louder than everybody -- all throught the move.

The Hulk was definitely a scene-stealer. I liked that you could recognize Ruffalo's face in the monster. I actually got a little teary-eyed when the Hulk caught Iron Man.

But it's his line here that I couldn't hear due to the audience screaming applauding and hooting.  The one time Hulk speaks, right?  I think you or someone else posted "Puny god?"  Fuck, I want to see it again just to hear it this time.

I caught "god" but that was it. I was guessing "some god" or something like that. People around me were also going "what did he say?"

I think you just summed up what I love about this. For example, Cap is Cap through the whole film. He's positive, believes in people (even naively) and when the Helicarrier is damaged and Iron Man says "do that", Cap doesn't even hesitate, he simply leaps out over the damaged area despite being 30,000 feet up because it needs to be done. It's simply what Cap does. Then during the battle, Iron Man says "Call it Cap" and without hesitating the ultimate tactician rips out the battle plan telling each of them what's what.

Fucking beautiful!

There was lots of applause here for that spot.

It was also pretty cool to see Tony have an intellectual peer in Banner to work with, and then get reminded that he also has to get along with "regular" people, too.  "Speak English!" was a great line from Cap to get Tony to just tell him what needed to be done.  Widow being shook up after escaping from Hulk, then being able to shake it off was great.  And that was after being able to manipulate the master manipulator in another great scene.  Damn, I wish I could afford to hit the theater every day for the next month.  The blu-ray release can't happen fast enough.  I need to watch this many, many more times.

Hopefully, with the sequels ahead for the individual heroes (Cap, Thor, and Iron Man), more Avengers will be introduced as we saw Widow and Hawkeye debut.
Which characters would you like to see introduced for possible inclusion in the sequel?
For me :
Thor:  I would like to see an intro. for Captain Marvel or Hercules

Iron Man: Hank and Janet, introduce them in Iron Man and let them join the Universe.  A couple of films down the road we get our Ultron.

Finaly in the Cap installment I would like an appearance by Simon Williams.

I also think that we will hear about a Ruffle Hulk movie for 2014 very quickly.  If so, She Hulk is a natural choice to see.

This would give us more Avengers to pull from especially if some of the current stars elect to not really sign for additional films.

Was doing a little thinking on this today.

Here are the characters that MUST show up before the franchise ends:

Hank Pym (preferably as Ant-Man first, then Goliath -- ending with Yellowjacket -- but not as a wife beater)

Wasp
Scarlet Witch
Vision
Ultron -- who can't/shouldn't show up unless they plan on using the Pyms

But with Thanos showing up, I wouldn't be oppoosed to Captain Mar-Vell debuting -- possibly in Iron Man -- or even Adam Warlock in his short shorts. Obviously, the former is more likely than the latter. Also, a little bit of Moondragon, Starfox and Drax (not Hulk-size) would be pie in the sky.

I wouldn't mind seeing Quicksilver, Ms. Marvel and Wonder Man, but they all seem unlikely. Okay, Hercules in a Thor movie would be cool, but I'd actually rather not see him in an Avengers film -- unless Thor was unavailable.

Avengers I like whom seem too far out of left field are Black Knight, Tigra, Swordsman and Mantis.

But it Ultron does appear (and fans will be pissed if he doesn't) a glimpse of Jocasta (maybe in a role similar to the one the android Human Torch did in Captain America) would be a hoot.

Honestly, I'd love seeing "Avengers 5: The Hellcat Cometh" in which the team squares off against the Squadron Supreme, but something like that is better left for toonland.

As for She-Hulk, I come down on the side of no thanks. No Red Hulks either, thank you.
