Correct on all counts.  With Morrison poking his thumb in Warner's corporate eye, you have to wonder if anyone at DC or Warner got an advance copy of this article.  Morrison is too smart to make a PR blunder like this.  I have to think it's a not so subtle swipe at the new regime.  Which includes by all accounts one of his best buds in the bizz, Geoff Johns.  This isn't a shot across the bow, this is a torpedo below the water line.

Grants bored... He's entertaining himself! Kcekada- Has a good point with his adressing which in turn makes it all shit. Grant becomes the satirist, which we do see ocassionally, certainly seen through his autobiography, other wise we can term him "A Rum Bugger" He's a funny guy!

He's basically doing the shtick that everyone does at some time and using Playboy to do it.

Having said which, I can't blame him, this guy is one of us.
Look at the odd concepts he's pulled from the DCU over the years going back decades.

Now DC have destroyed that, It wouldn't surprise me if he's as pissed off as we are.

I still think the Image thing is very telling.

The Batman-is-gay stuff is just Morrison's typically trippy way of getting inside and relating to the character. It's as big a mistake to take it any more literally than when Grant was describing Superman as Jesus when he was talking up All-Star Superman.

Plus I'm sure he's hoping to whip up some bible-thumping windbag and generate some controversy. Can't say I blame him. We live in a world where some jackass thinks the latest marketing campaign for Mike & Ike candies is a plot to undermine heterosexual marriage.
