Yeah, I really don't like that one for the eyes.

The original one came with two heads.  I would sculpt the hair pulled back in the Silver Age look.

I would probably redo her legs, putting them together.

You've really got me thinking about a Blackhawk King Faraday.  Points.

Does it have to be a character that appeared in The New Frontier? I'd love to see a Cooke-style Phantom Stranger.

Metamorpho and the Atom are two other possibilities. Clearly Hawkman would be a bitch to do...

And if you can find hands that appear to be "snapping" -- then there's always Snapper Carr.

More I think about it, the more I'd go with the Atom. Think he was the 2nd new member to join after Green Arrow. And it doesn't get more Silver Age than Ray Palmer.

Phantom Stranger makes a two page appearance and it's a wild look.

I do want to stick with folks in the book.

I dig Atom, but I'd make him in scale.

Thank you.

Actually this thread has influenced my reading choice for the evening.

So, have a point back. laugh

It's one of my favorite books.

There are so many great characters and character moments that didn't make it into the film.

With carte blanch, I'd insist on figures of Rick Flagg, Carol Ferris, and the Challs.

On the other hand I know some of the production crew of the movie and love how they snuck in the vintage Aurora model Bat plane and a cool UFO model as Hals experimental aircraft.

I'm just finished book 2.

I'd forgotten how just how good this was, but I know a little of it is that DCnu crap creeping in.

I read a book like this, it makes me understand why to the generation before me, these characters were the men.

I just honestly hope that someone gets the chance to do this kind of thing with my characters in twenty years time.

Whatever anybody thinks of the Legacy characters, I know there's an absolutely great story to be told with them (you know that fantasy pitch every fan has in their heads.? That's mine.) laugh

But yeah, a book like this makes you realise just how much DC have thrown away to be cool. Sad

So much of the book comes from characters that just don't exist any more, the Challs, Rick Flagg, Martian Manhunter.

But yeah, a book like this makes you realise just how much DC have thrown away to make a buck.

Fixed.

I would totally go for a less-Amazonian Wonder Woman, but that would be a lot of work.  If anyone has a spare NF WW lying about, let me know...

Yes... I have a full one you can have and the top half of one, as the bottom was used for Ma Hunkle.

I'm thinking of sculpting everything below the belt.  Where did you cut her up for Ma?

The waist from the bottom of the boddice.

All I used were the hips and thighs from her.
