And by that rational, there are teams
we'll never get started
.
No Easy Company yet, so don't do Sgt Rock ect.
NOT while the line is on "life support". Maybe you want to waste slots in the sub on one off characters or starting new teams, but I'd rather see them try to finish what they've started before they're forced to pull the plug.

I don't believe this is a "Deer Mattle, please put in the Sub ..." thread -- seems more a "You could give give us even more characters by doing these cheap and easy ones somewhere, somehow".
I think 90% of 90s comics were crap and I sure didn't read Superman in those days, but a few characters popped up that interest me. Agent Liberty is one, Gangbuster is another ... they just look cool and if their fans get a chance at one I'm happy to pick one up too even if I'd "rather" have other characters. I'd draw the line at stuff like the Supermen of America though
Now Ben Boxer ... most Kirby stuff just bores me and this guy is one that if I had been "forced" to buy in order to get a C&C part I would have been a bit disgruntled ... but again, low hanging fruit. If you can find a way to get a character like this out there for his fans, why not? This could be a website exclusive, easy. I don't think he'd be a big seller on his own, but if they put him in a 3-pack with Dr Canus and Pyra and said "Hey, here's some of Kamandi's pals and since they're mostly repaints with just new heads we can sell them to you cheap!", hell I'd buy them.

I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

I'm assuming that's because you're what I call a "hodge podge" collector or doesn't care about a cohesive display of era specific teams, family connections or any of the other criteria some of us use to base our "want lists" on. Nothing personal, but IF a character doesn't fit into one of those established criteria then I have no interest in it unless it's a personal favorite like Jonah Hex or Warlord.
So. If I don't like a SPECIFIC part of the DCU, but rather enjoy it as a cohesive whole then what? My opinion on what could easily be achieved using what we already have on hand, regardless of any discussion as to how we would actually get it even though it's all a hypothetical argument for the sake of having one, doesn't count?
Psy, you seem to be under the belief that I'm trying to create a demand list for the sub. I'm not. There are DC characters out there that could easily be put into the sub, the All-Stars, 5 packs, or any number of possibilities, should Mattel just use the parts they already have. Do I want Lead, Granny Goodness, Bouncing Boy, Tellus, Mr Atom, Captain Nazi, August General in Iron, Arisia, Tomahawk and others to show up eventually? Yes. But every single one of them requires unique scultping.
Do I actually expect them to pay any attention to me? Of course the fuck not. I'm not a a chest thumping MOTU fan. I'm not someone who is gushing over the stupid BTTF Hoverboard that seems to be all Matty seems interested in. Voltron? Don't care. Ghostbusters? I watch the movies on cable IF I stumble across them, but action figures from that are 20 years too late.

Fair enough, but I'd still like to know WHY I should give a fuck about this guy because IMO given the current state of the line being a piece of "low hanging DC Universe fruit" just isn't enough reason to make a figure anymore.
Altho now that I know you guys aren't talking about putting him in the sub I suppose he might make a good addition to a TRU 2 pack with that MA Guardian repaint they never did. Still NOT something I'd want, but I wouldn't be inclined to bitch much about it.

Sigh...of COURSE your opinion counts despite your questionable taste in character selection, but that doesn't mean you get a free pass on not having some reason to justify it besides a figure being a "low piece of DC Universe flavored fruit."

WOW!
This has turned petty.
So what if someone wants to make a list of figures Mattel COULD make with ease IF DC would give them the ability to do so?
Is that debate worthy? Is it worth the hassle of all this back and forth?
This could have been a good thread with alot of suggestions from other members, a nice break from the bleak Mattel/DC offerings and how unappealing they are to so many.
Instead it has degenerated into a "because
I
don't like it, it sucks!!!!!" type of thread.
So what if someone wants to be creative and think of what could easily be done by Mattel if they were so inclined or free to do so? Who here can say that they are not entitled to their opinions? You want to disagree? Fine. Add some suggestions. No need to slam someone because you want justification for what toys they want. Who the hell are any of us to ask for that from someone else over their toy wants?
It's arrogant and unbecoming.
I like traffic in the Chop Shop, but not for this, because it detracts from the legitimate efforts that customizers put in on this board.
This is NOT the place for these kinds of squabbles.

Stars is right. Hype and Psy, both of you guys are cool and absolutely main assets of the board. I think - and this is not me being an admin or any of that shite, just as a friend - you should agree to disagree and leave it.

I agree absolutely with all of this. Psy, why are you giving him such a ration of shit?

I love traffic here too, but you're right this is the wrong kind!

Yup because I've asked repeatedly WHY I should care about or want a figure of Agent Liberty and so far far nobody has given me a valid reason other than because he's "low hanging DC Universe flavored fruit". Apparently even asking that makes me "petty, arrogant and unbecoming", not to mention the whole "giving him a ration of shit". I fail to see how this "disagreement" is any different than one about Blight or Inque or any other DC Universe character someone wants because they want it, but yeah let's just leave this alone for now before I go from being mildly annoyed to being seriously fucking pissed off at the lot of ya.
