My attitude to this is that we can justify a small amount of newness.
So a rubber overlay or new belt would be acceptable.

After all, if Mattel can't do that, what's the point.
I also think new heads go without saying, as Mattel seem to be willing to do that on otherwise cheapy figures.

Dr Light- evil bastard, but so hapless he gave up taking on the JLA to keep getting his butt handed to him by the Titans instead.  Doctor Fate body minus the amulet and collar, add a new head and some new details on the belt.  Dunk repeatedly in white paint.  Bingo bongo, more villainy!

Man, "D" is tough, just because there are so many great unmade "Doctors" in the DCU.

Doctor Death, Doctor 13, Doctor Regulas,Doctor Destiny, Doc Magus, two (unmade) Doctor Mid-nite's, Dr Sivana, Dr Psycho, Doctor Occult, Doctor Polaris, Doctor Mist, Doctor Poison, Dr Hurt, Dr Bedlam, Doctor Cyber, Doctor Spectro, Doctor Light, Doctor Death, Doctor Phosphorous, Doctor Alchemy, Doctor Double X.

It seems that you can't gain a Doctorate in the DCU without slapping on a costume and running around doing stuff.

In fact, I'm going to be keeping a very close eye on our very own "Doc" from now on... Wink

But, I'm not going with a Doc, I'm going with a guy who more than deserves a shot at plastic and shockingly has sadly never (to my knowledge) had one.



C'mon Mattel, how hard is this?

Take any large male buck you want, add a Mr Miracle cape & modified Robin "Pixie" boots.
New head and done.

For bonus points, how about a two pack with his erstwhile girlfriend, Doll Girl?



And if you really want to spoil us, how's this for an oversized figure pack?

Doll-man, Doll Girl and get some more use out of the Infinite Hero bucks and give us a mini two-fer of the pair packed in.
