SDCC 2012 DCUC exclusive
«

Well it's that time of year when we start speculating on this.
As I won the sweepstakes last year calling Swamp Thing first, I thought I'd take it on to start things off this year.
I'm calling Johnny Thunder and Thunderbolt.
Just cause that's the vibe I'm getting. What's your call?
I'm committing Moores to give out 500 mojo to the winner.

Frankenstein.
He's the only DCnu figure that really fits the mould for a bigger SDCC exclusive (plus he's a cheap retool).
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the con exclusive will be "little girl" Father Time.

I'm not really sure given the way they have talked about it. Will there even be a six inch DCUC style offering?

I hope you're right but don't think it'll happen. You always have to take into consideration what DC Comics wants. This exclusive reflects on them as well. And this is the nerd Superbowl. DC will want something to highlight the new 52. I'm calling an Outlaws three pack.

This, however, makes sense.

Geoff Johns with middle finger flipping action and a roll of toilet paper made of old DC comics. If you buy it at SDCC you get an exclusive Dan Dido figure with his head shoved up his own ass, regrettably that won't be available on Matty after the show.

If that's Red Hood, Starfire and Arsenal you're referring to, I have no shame at all in admitting that I'll buy it.
Having said which, we haven't seen DCnu Batman yet.
Wouldn't surprise me if that's this years SDCC fig.
Batman will always sell and it's a hell of a good way of getting people to the Mattel stalls.

I wouldn't argue with:
Jeremiah Arkham
Red Hood
Batwoman
Dollmaker
Huntress
August General in Iron
Talon
Godiva
Frankenstein
The Creature Commando's
John Moore Red Lantern
And a few others.
It's not
all
bad.

I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

From the AFP Toy Guru ToyFair thing that I listened too and made notes about in the Ask Matty 15/02/12 thread-
Quote
SDCC Exclusives reveal will be in April. (No Surprise) 3 for DC- 1 Dark Knight, 2 brand new "form doctors, brand new things we'll be testing out."
I don't know what a 'form doctor' is, but if I were to take a stab at this, I'd guess
Elongated Man with an extended trunk
Johnny Thunder with Thunderbolt 2-pack (with Con Exclusive Peachy Pet)
But I've also done some digging through some of the older threads and we've got to keep in mind that it could be Rita and Chief, Ambush Bug or someone like (can anyone guess where I'm going next?) Tellus (Couldn't see that coming? You haven't been reading my posts. Shame on you!), but the form COULD be for Winged Victory, or even a SA Chemo. Or Shaggy Man.
