Listened to Ep 8 yesterday, and have to say that since there were no out-takes at the end, I have to guess that Andy/Scott must be the reason there are mistakes!
Glad someone noticed that the absence of my good humour and wit resulted in a lack of humorous tidbits at the end!

Any way -- I agree that Bowen should get around to Shang-Chi. Maybe do a bust first to gauge interest?
Bless you kind Sir!

It's amazing, but ep8 ran like a professional, well oiled machine.

Andy,
It appears that the AFB webpage with links to the downloadable episodes hasn't been updated since episode six. I usually go there instead of iTunes to get the episodes.
I just downloaded 5 the other day, but 6 was the most recent episode shown there.

Episode 9, seems like you guys are really relaxed now and the show flows smoothly. I'm finding I really enjoy the red card segment too. Too bad there's something every week to call out.

Thanks Mar-vel! "Red Carded" has become a popular segment - it's just a shame that Mattel's DC stuff features so regularly.
We appreciate the comments!
Speaking of which - we record E10 tomorrow and we'd love some feedback from you guys on what you're enjoying about the podcast so far. Comment here or email

I'm trying to abstain from Mojo and the inevitable fight that I feel will resurface as it returns. I would appreciate it if everyone would respect that and not give me any. Thank you.

Thank you for the kind words about my display. I would love to cut that segment out and have it on a sound chip I could play whenever I have guests over.
Yeah, I'm not a sucker for compliments or anything.

I really need to get caught up so that my comments are relevant.
Any way, just finished listening to eppy 5 last night -- and enjoyed the review of Marvel Legends II.
I'm one of the loudest complainers regarding Hope Summers, but that's because I hate everything about the character. Just want to see her DEAD!
I'll be passing on all of the Wrecking Crew -- just too huge and not important enough to warrant the scale issue.
Will pick up Masque if I find her (but I haven't stopped at TRU in about a month, so...), but will pass on Viper -- whom is actually a more important character -- but Hasblo just blew it, IMHO.
I would so much have preferred seeing Drax in Bronze Age form -- before he Hulked out -- but since they couldn't even do a good classic Adam Warlock, I guess there wouldn't be much point to classic Drax.
Oh, I found Andy/Scott's comment on Monica Rambeau/Captain Marvel II interesting. Randy Bowen isn't a fan of the character -- so it's unlikely we'll see her as a statue. Have to say that she was always a bland character, but shouldn't the market dictate who they make. I mean, Randy's not the only sculptor there. But I'm much rather see Mantis, Moondragon or Hellcat.

It's an interesting one. As Scott pointed out, as an Avenger, Monica was around for a long, long time so she's got the appearances to support her, but then so does Dr Druid I guess.

Dr Druid was an Avenger for a
fraction
of the time Monica was!
