Haha yes. We had a lot of discussion about where to say our usernames, and we decided that for the wider audience we hope to get (eg our grandmothers and the homeless people we will force to listen to it in exchange for cigarettes) it would be confusing, and that the people who loved us would listen to the end anyway. Smiley

Thanks for the feedback guys! For those that haven't listed, I won't spoil who's who, but yes, three of the four presenters are Mess Men as well!  Thumb's Up

A heads up for our iTunes subscribers.

Due to the technical limitations of feedburner we are using the for the AFB blog, we have had to create a new feed specifically for iTunes. If you have subscribed to the podcast outside of iTunes, then this change does not affect you, nor does it affect you if you are accessing it from a direct link, or from the Podcast tab on actionfigureblues.com.

For our iTunes subscribers, you will need to re-subscribe to the podcast from the iTunes Store. Just search for the "Action Figure Blues Podcast" again, and click on the Subsrcibe button again. Or go directly to the podcast from this link: http://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/action-figure-blues-podcast/id504118976

Apologies for this change in events, however we made a decision to fix it as soon as it became apparent.

Our next episode, the "real" Episode #2 (where we talk about New York Toy Fair, Hot Toys Predator, and the discussion topic "Are you out as a collector?"), is due out in a couple of days, so get to the iTunes store as soon as possible and re-subscribe!

Good job Andy/Scott and company confused

The discussion of Marvel Select Colossus had me to a little comparison between the ML version and the MS version. At the time, I thought the ML version was okay. After looking at images online, I see that was a turd. I'm doing some freelance work currently, and may be able to swing getting it.

Oh, and classic cover to Uncanny X-Men 122 was by Cockrum, not Byrne -- you bastards!  Wink

 laugh

That was my bad. I was trying to remember and even took a punt on #122 and was relieved I got it right.

I still like the ML S5 Colossus but the dull colouring brings it down a bit. The XMC Colossus uses mostly the same buck and is more silver coloured, but the Select version just seems so nicely streamlined when you hold them all up together.

Thanks for listening.

The paint apps really do make the difference. But as you guys stated in the podcast, the ribbing on the MS version is much more accurate to the way Cockrum designed him.  Only difference is that Cockrum didn't use the X-buckle. I think Jim Lee introduced that.

Yeah, that was a weird addition and the first thing I noticed.
