I absolutely hate when adaptations are made with no respect to the source material. Burton should have been run out of Hollywood after his ideas for Superman went public.

I'm only a bit of a Dark Shadows fan, but from the moment I heard Johnny Depp associated with it I had a bad feeling about it. The first promo pic didn't help -- especially with Helena Mugging Carter in it -- and that trailer is the final nail in the coffin.
I'm fully prepared for this movie to suck, and for everyone to love it.

, another nine new character posters for Tim Burton's Dark Shadows. Unlike the ones that debuted
last week
, these posters feature full-body shots of the entire Collins family.
Opening in theaters on May 11, the film stars Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins, Eva Green as Angelique Bouchard, Gully McGrath as David Collins, Helena Bonham Carter as Dr. Julia Hoffman, Jonny Lee Miller as Roger Collins, Bella Heathcote as Victoria Winters, Jackie Earle Haley as Willie Loomis, Chloe Grace Moretz as Caroline Stoddard and Michelle Pfieffer as Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.
