I dare not venture into Hot Toys 1/4 scale territory.
Though Batman will probably change my mind.

Hot Toys Red Skull review

You just can't have Captain America without his arch nemesis, Red Skull. They knew that when they started the new film franchise, and Hot Toys knew that when the picked up the figure license. They finally released the big bad, and he's got plenty of positives. But I'm not feeling the price, considering the number of accessories. You can find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!

So much amazing stuff. Sometimes, I wish I didn't spend so much on little 6 inch figures and just buy select Hot Toys offerings. But then again, for 1 Hot Toys 1/4 figure, I could probably buy 25 regular 6 inch figures. Wow.

Great figure, horrible costume.
The post I had written in my mind and not yet posted was "There's a great figure of a shitty costume."
But I need to get me one of those ball-lifting stands.

Cap's costume doesn't translate well to screen or dolls either. That looks like a figure of a cosplayer. I'm glad I got the WWII version instead.

I like it. My favorite is the rescue version, but I still want the 'comic' version to go with it. I just wish that they had used fabric to cover the head. I'm really surprised they went with sculpted. Sure, it would've looked goofy, but that's kind of the point of that scene/figure.
