Are some of you still trying to work out your lists? It's been kinda slow around the Mess this week. Maybe some of you haven't seen the "official subscription announcement" yet?

Yes, Rod. You're in. No rush on the list... I can only draw so many Pals at a time, anyway. I'm more trying to get a sense of how much source material I'll need to hunt for vs. what I already have... and how many Pals I need to plan to draw. (So it's kind of scheduling my time vs. worrying about money.)

And remember... you pay AFTER you get your set. Not beforehand.

There's no deadline, JQ.

We here at Pally's Pals Unlimited do not believe in cutting off potential interest in our product by creating artificially designed hoops for the consumer to jump through. We believe that the "Unlimited" in our name stands for more than the amount of money we hope to make!


(Although, we must admit that there are certain limitations to the product we can put out.)


In any case, there will be no thermometer and no deadline. We do, however, reserve the right to nag and guilt you like a Jewish mother if necessary!

Progress report...


Jack: I have 7 of your 10 done.
Titan: I have 6 of your 10 done, including 5 from your list.
Marv: I think I have a complete set of 12 for you, unless I change my mind on any of them.
Sherlock: 2 of your 10 so far.
Piffy: Just 1 so far, but I might switch her out to give you a better set. We'll see.


So far, I've just been doing DC characters. I'm more likely to switch it up after the first waves go out. Haven't drawn the Marvel characters in quite a while, so getting back into them has been a challenge... especially with having to hunt up source material online rather than in my own collection.

I'm also considering a "Marvel Box Set" of Pals... but haven't determined a number or price for that just yet. It would be a one-time, one-subscriber offer, though. Again... we'll see.

Thanks for your interest everyone, whether you're actually getting stuff from me or just checking in to see what's up.

Bought an issue of "Secret Origins" today to get a little new source material. Maybe I'll start offering complete teams, since no one else seems able to make any!

The very first subscription set of Pally's Pals is going out in the mail today. JackKnight should have his Pals by Wednesday at the latest!

Jack's having me do something a little different, and will be giving his Pals to his children to play with! So he's having me send him the cards uncut, and he intends to laminate them to preserve them and then cut them himself. I'll post pics of the uncut cards once he's gotten them.

I have a couple more to draw and cut for Titan, and I've got to cut a few more for Marv, and then those will go out... possibly by Monday. Then, I can get to work on some other orders.

In any case, things are humming along here at the Pally's Pals factory!

Perhaps I'll draw 5 Blackhawks and avoid the rest of that mess!

(Although... I did get a previous request for Mal, so he's going to get drawn at some point.)
