I'd say do what inspires you in whatever format is available.  The topicality of it all was perhaps the most amazing aspect of DDT.  It may not be a bad idea to hold off, maybe do some one shots, until some "new issues" flare up in the comic realm ripe for the sarcasm.

There's all kinds of places you can go with legendary DC artists.  Siegel and Schuster getting screwed out of Superman money.  THe most bankable character in the world and they ended up poor.  Marston's sexual hangups and facination with bondage.  Neal Adam's endless self love and bizarre theories on an expanding Earth.... man there's almost endless gold to be mined there.

Holy shit.  A "World Premiere!"  That's some hype!

And Gard, the answer is yes and yes.  Yes-- it's part one of a two-parter, and yes, it's a whole season of one-shots and two-parters.  First up, a two-parter.

My new goal is to keep DDT going until people say "man, that DDT used to be funny" and "what the hell happened" or "that sure jumped the shark quickly."

Just think of it as Wednesday Comics on a Saturday. Except way, way cheaper.

Glad to hear DDT is will be around for a while.  Shit, this may be funnier as one or two parters with less story elements to keep up with. 

Will you have one protagonist, or will you have a cast of rotating protagonists?  Will prison Lex be around at all?  Even though he's dead.  Blackest Night is an easy out.  Grin Wink

No Prison Lex for a while...Rotating protagonists.  First up, Mattel's ALEXANDER LUTHOR of EARTH 3.
