There's not really enough meat to this game to justify a review..

But, it is pretty cool.

It's the same territory as the recent Iron Man/Thor games, but much better.

Graphics are sweet, controls are tight and unlocking new constructs is good fun.
Ryan Reynolds voices Hal the whole way through to which adds a nice sense of synergy often missing from these movie games.

Some nice little cameos for Lantern fans, and the option to have a comics inspired costume from the start is a nice touch (white gloves!)

Can't say I'd recommend buying it, but it's definitely worth a rental or a reduced price later on.

Worth a blast for sure. Thumb's Up

I was expecting it to be absolute shite, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Marvel may be leading the way in movies, but DC are pissing all over them when it comes to games.

Can you give me a little more info?
I'm well past that bit and I'm playing on 360 so the controls may be different.

How did this hold-up then?

Also, I noticed in the shop it was two-player - does the second player have to be Sinestro, or is there a choice?

It was good fun, provided you aren't expecting much more than what it is.

The levels where it turns into a space shooter ala Starfox, were a nice break and the cameos were pretty cool.
Also, has no spoilers for the movie.

Two-player is co-op, but yeah, you have to be Sinestro and the constructs for him are the same as Hal's.

I'd recommend it, but not at £30-40 (unless you're a massive fan).
rent it or wait 'til it drops to around £20 is my advice.

Eh, I hate Sinestro. I wanted to be Tomar Re or Medphyl!

I'm FAR from a massive GL fan! Wink

Thanks for the info!

So who are the cameos? Any non-GL characters get slipped in?

Nope GL's only.

It might be a lttle unfair to call them a cameo as they are a big part of the storyline but the Zamaron's are in there and Amon Sur is the big bad.

Ah well, I was hoping for some space hero goodness. Even just the proverbial shout out to the Omega Men, Adam Strange, or Captain Comet would be cool.
