Like some kind of red kryptonite thing?

(I did a Google search for two-headed Superman and got some pretty disturbing results. In deference to B-lis, I didn't include any here.)

So did I.

For some reason I found this:

I don't know what's stranger, the fact that someone went to the trouble and made a Cerebus Hallowe'en outfit for a dog or the sheer quantity of Obama gifs and pics on the Mess today. Grin

If I could only find a pic of Obama with three heads, flashing the Vulcan peace sign, in a Superman costume whilst riding a skateboard, as a cat does something stupid in the background, then we could consider the Mess' work done, shut it down and do something productive instead. laugh

But I couldn't.

So here's a pic of a fat cunt playing with himself instead.

What I meant in all of this is the question that's bugged me for a while.  Are DC fans more picky when it comes to merchandise?  Are we less loyal than Marvel fans?  Are there fewer of us than Marvel fans?  With all the dead and dying lines, I've gotta wonder.  Two more lines died this week.  Young Justice 4" and 6 " lines went toes up.  Add that to Infinite Heroes, Retro Action, JLU, Brave and the Bold, and it's quite a dead pool.  Of action figures.   Wink

Add to this the continued peg warming (on clearance) of Green Lantern MM, and the reset of the comic based six inch line and I hope you see my point.

I don't really want Hasbro to get it. They wrecked Legends and haven't put out a single figure I want out of the new stuff yet.

Ain't happening any time soon.  DC and Mattel renewed last year.  And I'm doubtful that Hasbro would be allowed both licenses at once by the parent companies of Marvel and DC.  Disney and Warners are in a shooting war.  And one of the weapons makers can't supply arms to both sides.  Smiley

As bad as things are with Mattel at the moment, I don't want the DC license to go to another toymaker. I simply DON'T want to start over with another line. Why? So I can rebuy all the same characters all over again? And complain when the line dies with the same figures not being done that DCD and Mattel couldn't be bothered to do? It's not like Hasbro is going to do a Terrific or Thunder right out of the gate, they'll just do all the same figures we already have 10 versions of.

Plus I don't want to look at another style or scale. It's hard enough getting my DCD's and DCUC's to look like they belong together on a shelf.

I'd rather just ride this DCUC style thing out and get what little I want out of it. Then I'm done with the hobby. At least as far as DC characters go.

I'm with Dave. After all the lessons learned from over a decade with DCD and Mattel, I have no interest in starting yet another line and waiting for it to eventually tank with the inevitable disappointments in what doesn't get done. This line is it for me, so if Mattel can string it out a little longer and throw out a few more gems, like Metron, Platinum, and Tin, then I'll be happy.

Total Justice! Kenner's follow-up to Super Powers, featuring such dynamic characters as:

Aquaman - hook hand
Batman - charcoal gray
Flash - Wally West
Green Lantern - Kyle Rayner
Hawkman - "Hawkgod" version
Black Lightning - 90s costume

Collect and Connect Parallax

Wave 2

Green Arrow - Connor Hawke
Huntress - Helena Bertinelli
Doctor Polaris
Zauriel
Impulse
Lex Luthor - suit

Collect and Connect King Shark

SDCC and Matty.com Exclusive Box Set

Rock of Ages Evil Hard Light Holograms

Batman
Flash
Superman
Green Lantern
Martian Manhunter
Aquaman

All come packaged in a ridiculously "xtreme" pose, held in place by black twine and not the clamshell tray so as not to warp the figure, and each would come with a swappable "xtreme" clutching hand and a superfluous piece of Fractal Gear just to be silly Grin

Please, those figures had as much to do with Super-Powers as good characters had to the Super-Friends. Grin
