I think Titan is just playing on the whole Earth-1/Earth-2 thing CJ. Two groups from different "planets" pair off and do battle before teaming up and kicking the crap out of some alien menace.

yep. I consider myself a Messer with roots in the Doosh.
Just a way to set up the matches. I don't believe any of us harbor any ill will from what happened in the past. Hell I don't even know what happened and don't particularly care to find out.

No, I get that, I really do.
I just want to make sure everyone knows that, too. The last thing I'd wanna see is an US v. Them thing here, you know?

I agree 100%. I should have made it clear in the post. Plus Psy's title of a MessyDooshCon just rolls off the tongue don't ya think. I really think this can help cement us further together.

I don't want a Messy Doosh anywhere NEAR my tongue.

I haven't customized a figure in five years.
With good reason.

I'm down with that! I already feel very much at home, surrounded by familiar faces. But the first thing that crossed my mind was that I'd be challenged by some customizers whose work I've never seen before. I see this as a great opportunity to bond as one big Messy group!
Just because I gotta represent, I'm planning to order one of the Critical Mess baseball caps. I really like the logo, and my old House of Blues baseball cap is starting to look like a dog toy.

oh come on. it'll be fun. not like you're gonna go up against one of the 4 Horseman. Damn that would be cool if one of them got in on it though. Now I'm dreaming.

Over at heman.org, I once participated in a custom contest that was judged by the Four Horsemen. Their only criticism was that my spraycoat was too glossy. I went on a quest to find the flattest spray I could find. And I have to say, it's made a difference to my customs. Thanks, Cornboy!
Sometimes I'll buy a brand new action figure, and the plastic is too glossy. I'll spritz it with this flat sealant and it actually bumps up the quality quite a bit. I just did this recently with the DCUC Adam Strange figure. His entire head has a glossy finish. I masked off his helmet and sprayed his face. He looks ten times better.

I felt welcomed here from the very beginning and never took offense to the Doosh comments. Most of the criticism is fair as it is quite a mixed bag over there. I personally have nothing bad to say about the admins, the mods, or the communitiy as a whole, but even though I still post there, I will say that I felt more at home over here after only a few weeks than I did at the Fwoosh in over six years. I definitely consider myself a Messer first and Fwoosher second now.

Don't think of it as us vs. them, kinda think of it like the WCW invasion of WWE. An official merger of the two battled out on the new home turf. A slap in the face introduction of the new Heels and Faces (you know where you fall in that category)
