Did anyone here ever play the original?
Forget the so-so comic and pick it up if you didn't, it's going for peanuts now and is well worth a punt.

Mike Patton (of Faith No More) providing the freakiest voices ever, a gut punch mid section you won't forget, and a tight shooter to boot with a great gameplay twist.

Seriously it's probably only about $5 these days, check it out if you already haven't.

The demo is out today on XBox Live/PSN and it's friggin' brilliant.
Go get it now (or y'know whenever if you're at work or summat).

Gotta go catch up on some of the comics now in anticipation.

Just finished playing this.

Fantastic story (by Paul Jenkins) and some real good bits, but very short campaign and once you're a few levels in, it's all a little samey.

Nice little twist ending too (no idea if it's from the comics though).

Well worth a rent, but I wouldn't go plonking down $40 for it unless you're a huge fan.
