So, very much a set-up episode (to be expected, of course). It's going to be interesting to see how they juggle so many storylines over the course of the season.

Good stuff tonight. I love this show. And I'm not a particularly big fan of the genre.

Very good intro to Stannis and his household, and showin Joffrey out of control has me wanting him to eventually die a slow, painful death. Tyrion was his usual awesome self. Looks like another great season is coming.

Watched THE KILLING, MAD MEN & GAME OF THRONES tonight. Like GG, not my typical "genre of choice", but any random five minutes of GOT outclassed the other two by far.
And next week I think Nurse Jackie returns...Jesus, Sundays are gonna be insane.
I'm still amazed I'm able to follow everything so far (as I have never and probably will never read the books). Excellent reestablishing of the many characters and storylines. A big bravo!

Didn't realize Nurse Jackie got picked up for another season. I know The Big C is starting back up soon.

Another exposition episode, with a lot of dominos being set up for later. From the preview, I expect we'll meet one of my favorite characters next week.

Yeah, I was thinking that we're getting the Walking Dead treatment. Lots of talking. Not much hacking.

I said the same to my wife - the first half of this season may be mostly yapping, and the last half will be absolute chaos.

Icky moment with Theon and his sister. Err . . . I only read the first couple hundred pages of book 2 before deciding to wait till after season 2 to finish, but wasn't it his uncle that met Theon and took him to his father? Not that I mind the change. Good stuff with Tyrion and Varys. Good to see more of "Arry" this week.

Been a long time since I read that book, so I honestly don't remember if his uncle met him first and then passed him off to Asha (Yara, in the show) or not. That scene is pretty much straight out of the book, though. Poor Theon thought he was coming home a hero, and finds out he's a schmuck. Tyrion is a tough little bastard.
You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Iirc, there's so much going down in book 3, they could easily cover 2 seasons.

So far we have a 'it's art and you just don't understand it' nonpology from Hags and a post from Pieface Ron comparing Mike and CM to a dog that shit on the rug.
Think our official stance should be 'hell with those guys'.

Wow. Great ep. I'm getting more and more impressed with the acting. Especially Dinklage and the kid actors.
