Perhaps my last Lord of the Rings 1/6 kitbashes; this one's been at least a year and a half in the making, Helms Deep Aragorn...











Head - Toy Biz roto Aragorn (modified in multiple ways, attached to a neck, and repainted)
Body - Hot Toys True Type Caucasian
Tunic, shirt, pants, wrist guards, and boots - Dragon in Dreams Aragorn
Chain mail - Dragon in Dreams Viking
Belt - Dragon in Dreams Crusader (modified)
Wrist bracers - Toy Biz roto Aragorn (cut off and dremelled inside to fit)
Necklace - Dragon in Dreams Aragorn (modified length)
Hands - Sideshow Aragorn
Sword and sheath - Dragon in Dreams Aragorn (sheath was originally flat, all the details/knife/straps on it have been added)
Elvish back blade, pouches, and all belt straps - Toy Biz roto Aragorn

I'm glad he's finished and I can finally take him off of my workbench. Grin

Awesome job Sin.  Damn Sideshow for dropping this line as quickly as they did... they left so much on the table....I'd have love a Helms Deep Aragorn, and a Theoden to go with him.  And Eomer too.  And Gandalf the White.  And some Uruk Hai.  And Eowyn.  And a gajillion other figures from the greatest movies in the last two decades!

I dig it!  Thumb's Up  Like the weathering a lot cause he got filthy in the battle.  Great work on the vambraces especially and it beats trying to find a spare set of Boromirs.  Also think the blood on his head is painted very realistically.

Anything else on the agenda?  Hey now!
