Geez--Marshall Rogers was amazing. And anything Terry Austin touches is comic gold.

Classic cover. Classic comic, featuring the little seen Clayface IV, Jonathan Carlinger.

Jesus, I love that particular BATMAN look. I hate the Modern version of him... he looks like he weighs at least 400 pounds. I love a lean and mean BATMAN.

Fan-Made
The Dark Knight Rises
Posters of Alfred and Gordon
by
SuperHeroHype
May 31, 2012
Two days ago, we showed you the pretty incredible fan-made poster of
Matthew Modine's
character for
The Dark Knight Rises
.
Now the trend is continuing as someone over on
The Dark Knight Rises
fan community
Facebook page
has created two more.
The best part about this new trend of characters in the rain is that it proves once again Alfred is the smartest person in the series, because he brought an umbrella. Now considering WB has released almost so many other posters for the film, why wouldn't they make these posters a reality?

WB Wanted The Riddler for
The Dark Knight Rises
by
SuperHeroHype
June 01, 2012
There was a lot of speculation as to who would be the bad guy in the sequel to the phenomenal
The Dark Knight
. Fan reaction seemed to be centered on The Riddler and as it turns out WB executives had a similar train of thought.
Batman-News.com
has the details in an interview that David S. Goyer did with Empire magazine.
At the premiere for
The Dark Knight
in 2008 he says the studio already had their mind made up. They said, “it’s gonna be The Riddler, and we want it to be Leonardo DiCaprio…”
The same interview confirms that Nolan and Goyer didn't even know how the movie would go or who the villain would be until the fall of that year, but they did know how the film would end and Goyer says it hasn't changed from their original conception. "When Goyer saw that final scene from The Dark Knight Rises, he got a lump in his throat."
The Dark Knight Rises
hits theaters July 20.

The Dark Knight Rises
&
Chronicle
Win Golden Trailer Awards
by
SuperHeroHype
June 01, 2012
It appears there is an award scene for everything, even the trailers. This year marked the 13th annual
Golden Trailer Awards
and with over sixteen categories, they've got all their bases covered.
This year
The Dark Knight Rises
took the top prize, and then some, winning the awards of Best Action Trailer, Best Summer 2012 Blockbuster Trailer, and Best in Show. Chronicle was also represented and won the category of Most Original Trailer.
The awards are decided by a panel of judges and this year included names such as directors Jon Favreau, Ivan Reitman, and comedian Patton Oswalt.
