Write and Submit Your Own Article or Review

There are quite a few Pop Culture websites and messageboards around the Internet, many of which offer reviews or commentary by industry experts or insiders.  The problem with these reviews is that they aren't always unbiased; sometimes you can't bite the hand that feeds.  There's nothing wrong with these types of reviews and commentary; we all depend on those with inside access to provide us with the news we all love to buzz about.  However, you can't really argue that the opinions that matter most are those of the passionate fan/customer/consumer.  Since we don't have any inside access, and no one knows who the fuck we are, CriticalMess is the perfect vehicle for the fanboy to make themselves heard.

Anyone that is a member here is welcome to submit a review, article, stream of consciousness rant or what have you.  We realize that not everyone wants to be a writer or enjoys writing and if you just want to be heard in the forum, there's certainly nothing wrong with that.  However, if you want to speak your peace in a polished format that is a little more accessible than your average MB post, then we encourage you to take the step and do it up right.  Don't worry if you don't think you're as talented as writer X or funny as poster Y, because what you have to say is no less important, and everyone should have that chance to be heard.

So, if you have a good idea for an ongoing feature, or you just want to give a single article a try, go ahead and send it in, and we'll get it posted.  To help keep the work down and the fun up, there are a few things you could do that would really assist us in posting your article.

1.) Please send us the article in the format you wish it to appear.  Sending your article in a Word document is a great way to go.

2.) Please include any pictures or graphics you'd like to include with instructions on where you would like them placed.

3.) Please be sure and give your article a quick once-over with regards to spelling and grammar.

Right, so where do you actually send these article to have them posted?

Note: This isn't a full time job for any of us and sometimes people don't check in for a few days.  If you submitted an article and don't get a response within a couple of days, please forward the article to measle@criticalmess.net.
