Last week we spoke with artist Jimmy Broxton on his new project Goldtiger, this week we talk with writer Guy Adams on Goldtiger, Sherlock, and HELLBLAZER.
Jimmy Broxton sprung onto the scene with Mess - favourite mini - series The Knight and The Squire, a brilliant evocation of not only Silver Age fun but also British comics of sainted memory, from The Beano to Viz. Now, he and writer Guy Adams are preparing to unleash faux - retro ''newspaper strip'' Goldtiger, and we caught up with Jimmy recently for the Mess' Nine Questions...
Adam Hughes had no formal training in art and he began his career in 1987 where he pencilled two short stories for Death Hawk #1, created by Mark Ellis.
In 1988 DC Comics offered him a job on Justice League America. He did both covers and internal art on the series for two years, before becoming just a cover artist.
Ten years later he began a five-year run as cover artist on Wonder Woman; it was here his good girl style of work caught the eye of comic book fans world-wide.
Over the past couple of months we have seen artist Phil Winslade take on some unique projects.
After his own Spam Man project, here we see him in the running for a Kick Starter project by Dana MoresheadBACON the COMIC BOOK.

Some of you may be aware that over on the social networking sites there has been some fun and games with advertising this project.
Of course as a fellow Brit and a Philopot! (a Phil Winslade fan) it was hard to resist not to get on board as
The Avengers have split into pairs and all get punked, presumably before they overcome in the end. Just a blah by-the-numbers issue with less than spectacular fill-in art. Yuck.
Fight issue with gorgeous Deodato art. I could still do with some explanation on who these New Dark Avengers are (and since when can Superia fly?), but lots of Avengers, including Daredevil, get their shot in the spotlight.
