1. In looking at the Darkseid buck you used to create Metal Man LEAD, it seems like it would be an effective base body for an oversized BLOK of the Legion of Super-Heroes.  While you have indicated that Monsieur Mallah would likely be the only oversized DCUC figure in 2013, is an oversized BLOK something you would consider?

By far one of the biggest pop culture smashes of the last 50 years, 1984's Ghostbusters gave us, among other things, a bevy of gadgets that made us gaga.  Be honest: each of you, at some point in your lives, dreamed of owning your own proton pack, ghost trap, PKE meter or slime blaster.  (Well, okay, maybe not so much the last one.)

“What have we got here….Some kinda fuckin’ wiseguy?

Mafia 2 is the long awaited sequel to the original Xbox and PS2 game. The first in the series is fondly remembered for being both a unique (for the time) open world experience and an absolutely bastard hard classic. If you’ve ever enjoyed such films as the Godfather trilogy or Goodfella’s you’re gonna completely plotz for this game. After eight years of waiting the sequel is finally here.

Another year, another Lego game.

Having covered the Star Wars, Batman and Indiana Jones franchises (whilst also dipping into the fad for interactive music games with Lego: Rock Band) the brand has gone to the well of arguably the biggest no-brainer of all time, the Harry Potter series.

Alan Wake has been on many people's radar since it's announcement a few years back, a game set in the survival horror genre, developed by Remedy Games who's previous efforts Max Payne 1 and 2 seem to be about as far removed from this game as possible.

KRATOS!!!  He's an angry fellow.  Seeking revenge on Ares in the first God of War, Zeus in GoW II, and now all of Olympus in the third "main" installment of the franchise, he'll let no man, creature, or puzzle stand in his way.  I don't have a PSP, so I haven't had a chance to play Chains of Olympus, but I'd imagine he's pretty angry in that game, too.

Let's Get Ready to Rumbbbbllleee!  Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3!

"Micro$oft is a gredy company that just wants yor money" "Id rather by 100 Xboxes then won Playstation"  Statements like these can be found on gaming forums the world over.  Fanboys are poised to fight to the death for their system of choice.  Next gen gaming is upon us.  Next gen gaming consoles are upon us in the form of the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo's Wii.  For the purposes of this article I'm going to omit the Wii.  First off, I don't own a Wii, and I wouldn't want to write an article that is strictly heresay.  Secondly, Nintendo kind of dropped out of the next gen race by making the decision to cater to casual gamers focusing on the ground breaking controls instead of what's under the hood.  This strategy has paid big dividends for Nintendo as they are the only game in town in that particular market, leaving Microsoft and Sony to duke it out for true Next Gen bragging rights.

Assassin’s Creed:  Is too much of a good thing too much all the same?

Everything you’ve heard about Ubisoft’s Crusade era stunner is a lie.  OK, not so much a lie as deceit by omission.  Let’s put it this way: everything you’ve heard is true IF the game reviewers stopped playing after the first level (first assassination).  What they don’t tell you is that game is repetitive as fuck after that point. And that cool sci-fi-ish story?  Yeah, it ends for shit.

Gears of War - Or how measle and Boy sorta saved the world.

For those of you that believe children are a gift from God, you’ve obviously never been ripped apart by aliens because your junior teammate eschewed laying down cover fire in order to lay chainsaw to sofa. That junior teammate I refer to is my 8-year-old nephew/sidekick, whom I affectionately refer to as Boy, or the Boy. 99 percent of my gaming experience involves playing collaboratively with the Boy; an experience that ranges from total fun to downright frustration, but in the end always well worth it. Well, at least usually well worth it. Our most recent exploit was a foray into the post-invasion world of Gears of War.

Fun with MySpace Part 1: I'm new in your local area...

In this first article of what could be a promising series, Rocko takes a look at MySpace stupidity.  This installment deals with those flirtatious porn-bots and the men who fall in love with them.
